I saw a similar video involving said animal, a man, and a knife. It was posted onto one of those gore/shock sites with a disclaimer warning people that it’s not for entertainment, but was there simply to help identify the person in the video so they could alert the authorities.
Luckily it wasn’t too graphic, due to the angle, but still… the only emotion I felt afterwards was contempt for the sick fuck. I’m not easily shocked - and I’ve seen a lot of gory stuff, but I found myself shaking my head and sighing.
Even with the most evil of things, there is a purpose to an action - this wasn’t even for ‘fun’… just, because. That’s what made it worse.
They were doing this in secret. The manufacturer had poached our sales manager, but he was still working for us. They were stealing company secrets while preparing to set up the branch office. As far as we could tell, they had intended to sent this fax to his home number but screwed up and sent it to the office.
Since we had proof of this deceit, it cost the manufacturer several million in a settlement. It’s hard to claim innocence when the spelled out exactly what and when they were going to do.
They didn’t even bother to contest their guilt, they only attempted to negotiate on the amount of damages.
While working in the IT department of a small company, I had to reinstall the CEO’s secretary’s computer which involved first backuping everything personal on it for her. Among the stuff she pointed to me was a folder named “Funny” that was full of mostly jpegs that I copied over to my machine for a slow day. It was mostly early memes, comic strips & the sort of stuff that today would be Facebook wall material… and a 20 minute video of a woman being *very *affectionate with a horse.
Did not see that coming. And then I did.

Some people were sharing similarly graphic photos of victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. The most common one was a very gray-faced man in a wheelchair, with his shinbones being all that was left of his legs below the knees. :eek: I really did not need to be surprised by that, and I also thought it was an assault on his dignity to have that uncropped photo shared so much.
