I’m trying to identify a current dance song that seems un-Shazam-able.
Its chorus features “Let’s go” something – it may be “now” or “back” or “dance” or “down” – and sounds very much like Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”:
Teenage Dream: “You - make - me - (feel like I’m living a) - teen - age - dream.”
Mystery song: “Let’s - go - dance(?) - (something something) - let’s - go - dance(?).”
I first heard this song at a Dallas Mavericks game and actually thought it was written for the team, as the mystery word of the chorus makes it sound like “Let’s go Mavs.”
Googling “Let’s go now,” “Let’s go dance,” etc., brings up various songs, but not the one I’m hearing.
Does anyone know what this song is? Female singer, by the way.
