it was a computer game from back in the day. you had to figure out who was doing this in american history-time, place, and person. and there was a robotic cat that would follow you around. and there was a bad guy named dr. dread and his phone number was 555-dread. and there was a fridge and you could eat things.
it was called something like american time travelers or something.
