You are not my doctor, I am not your patient, and I am not seeking medical advice.
Right arm, about five finger widths from the tip of the elbow (toward the wrist), on the outer arm (outer meaning, opposite side of the palm). Several times a day I will feel this “wiggling” sensation coming from a spot under my skin. The only way I can think to describe it is this: it feels as if there’s something in there… pulsating. It only lasts for a few seconds, although these feelings come in bunches, and I may have 6-10 pulses over the course of an hour, and then not have any for days.
Or fasiculationcaused by overuse, overcaffenation, antihistamine use or magnesium deficiency or any of a number of other things not really worth worrying about unless you have other, scarier, symptoms. But I’m pulling for the botflies and hoping you post videos.
I dunno. This has happened to me too, though, if that’s any consolation. Does it sort of remind you of an eyebrow twitch? When this happens to me, it’s not always in the same body part… it’s totally random and usually goes away within a few hours. I’ve always put it down to some kind of weird muscle or nerve spasm. Since it doesn’t hurt, it never struck me as a big deal.
I swear to god I started typing this before **WhyNot **had replied. >:[
Have you seen any giant alien eggs lately? Otherwise, is there any heat, or skin discolouration at the site of the ‘twitch’? It might possibly be a blood clot.
I sometimes get a similar thing, most often in my thigh. I can feel a fluttering or twitching sensation, and if I’m quick enough to look I can see the skin twitching up and down. I think it’s a muscle thing, but I do sometimes imagine it’s the blood trying to force its way past a major blockage…
