What is this song about??

Its Alizee singing in French, of course.

What is the song about.

It appears to be this song sung in French. Can’t tell you if the lyrics have the same meaning in both languages or if the song is completely different in the English version.

Must be a bad translation.

What’s the song about? Well, it’s about being fed up, being pissed off, or however you best phrase it. It also contains lots of certain suggestive innuendo if you listen to it that way.

Fortunately there are resources for those Alizée fans with limited French skills. Official lyrics and quite a few translations on this site, and here is a literal translation of J’en ai marre. As you can see, it is quite different from the official lyrics of the English version, I’m Fed Up, but the meaning stays more or less the same. All her lyrics are written by renowned artist Mylène Farmer, so some Mylene fan pages include Alizée translations, see for example this thread for an alternate interpretation (and comments) of the French original.
