I had always thought that lick was just a generic metallish thing that Mike Judge made up so as to avoid always relying on known classics.

Thanks! I could identify all the other songs Beavis & Butt-head played on air guitar (“Paradise City,” “Smoke on the Water,” “Iron Man,” etc.), but I’ve never heard “Electric Funeral” before.

Other songs I’ve noticed them play include “Rooster” by Alice in Chains (when Sgt. Dick Leakey refers to himself as “The Rooster.”
I’m watching that episode, but I don’t see the part where they play air guitar. I do like Beavis’s chant of “the chair! The chair! The chair!”
It sounds like “There Goes the Neighborhood” by Body Count, a heavy metal band that used to perform with rapper Ice T.
Was the new season a couple of summers ago just a one off? I was hoping for a new season each summer, like Futurama.
