What is your character(s) on EverQuest?

Baltin is now a Level 16
Drazx just made level 3 (still waiting name fix)

I’ve stopped playing for many of the negative reasons stated above, but mostly because for almost 2 years it sucked up entirely too much of my time.

My favorite PC was Elesias, a 36 Inkie Chanter on the Seventh Hammer server.

Had too many other characters to count, most of which didn’t get past lvl 20.

The most fun character was a Guide I had on TZ, but the guide program, like everything else in the game, had its fun wear off fairly quickly due mostly to having to deal with thousands of other people and their problems.

Hate to nitpick, but neither race nor dexterity help to determine speed. All races run at the same base speed, and that is modified by agility and encumbrance.

Opalecia is now lvl 27

I have a 43 druid on Saryn named Garainla. She kicks tons of ass! If anyone plays on Saryn give me a tell.

Not so fast!

You may have a level on my Guide (lvl 50 troll warrior), but given that I had over 10k health, an AC through the roof, insane regeneration, the abilities to go invisible at will and summon you into lava from anywhere in the world, I think I hold the tactical advantages :stuck_out_tongue:

I am on Saryrn, Talkinsquirrel. Simony is a 44th level cleric and just half a bubble from 45, where I expect to be for sometime. Are you in a guild? Which one?

Yuppers I’m in Echo of Valor. It was a split off from the Grand Dragons because of some disputes, which I know nothing about cuz I was in boot camp. Can’t leave em alone for three months without the guild breaking up. sigh Give me a tell sometime well group up =)

on Luclin server:

57 Halfling warrior

56 Ogre Shaman (Shamans ruled pre-Kunark, they got shitted from 50-60 though so don’t even bother if you’re thinking about playing a shaman)

38 Barbarian Rogue

on Tunare server:

28 Troll Shaman

29 Gnome Rogue

All characters except the shamans have jboots

I win

Heh well for me it is:

On Quellious
Blackangel Niteshayde 51 Mystic
Darqangel Blackthorne 30 Druid
Illyana Drakosanaireo 36 Cleric

And assorted other twinkies

And Cisco, I would have to disagree, I love my Shaman, and yeah, OK we did get a bit of a shaft post 50, but I still have no problem getting groups. Matter of fact, I seem to get picked up as fast as Chanters and clerics.

My turn to contribute:

All on Zebuxoruk server (formerly of The Rathe):

  • Zardain Tachyon: 31 High Elf Wizard
  • Curseth: 13 Iksar Necromancer
  • Polymath: low-level (7 or 8) Wood Eld Druid

Zardain is the guy I play most of the time. Curseth came into the world with a specific purpose - to retrieve a Solists’s Icy Wand from Kurn’s Tower for Zardain.
AS for the druid - who knows? I was bored that day I guess…

Well, I’ve got a 11-th-ish Halfling Rogue named Fidelia on Tal Rasha, but I’m probably switching to The Rathe next time I start playing again. I’ve also decided that monks look like fun.

Remember, going from 50 to 60 is roughly equal to going from 1 to 50 TWICE. So give it awhile and see how much you still like your shaman when you get to 55+. Trust me bro, they are worthless.

I don’t do drugs, but my friend has a level 56 Cleric in the Tribunal server. he is named Inspector and is in the Companions. Sounds kind of queer to me.

Oh, I don’t disagree with ya there one bit. All I want is 55 for the Bearform  That’s why I made my cleric and 'chanter (who I haven’t really messed with yet).

But then again, I’m also easily amused too.

Yep, now I have a monk on The Rathe. Esabb. Yes, really original. Anyone hanging around Freeport look me up, I’m the moron smashing spiders with my face.
Well, I can imagine it. Not my fault Everquest doesn’t let you customize attacks.

Seriously, have you discovered any signatures to your play style?

What happened to make Shamans worthless after 55?

Grimspell, my troll Shaman is all I play now. Once my monk hit 20, I felt he became so dependent on others to survive that it just wasn’t much fun anymore.
