I get paid at the end of each month.
Which Commonwealth? The Commonwealth of Australia? The Commonwealth of Nations? – though I doubt if the latter has any laws on salaries and wages.

Weekly, typically deposited on Thursday mornings.
Ditto. It was three in May and November: then we’d get four, because we’d bonus those months. So now it’s three in April, May, October and November: if we bonus.
I’m a federal employee, so biweekly - next payday is Apr 2, but my money will be in my account the day before.
My husband is paid twice a month. The pay periods end on the 15 and the last day, and his pay is usually deposited 3 days later, excluding weekends. I hate his pay schedule, but it’s better than when he got paid once a month - that sucked.
Officially it’s twice a month (24 a year, the 1st and 15th…I think…it might be 15th and 30th. At any rate, it has to be direct deposit, and there’s all sorts of weird things like if the payday is a holiday, it’s the day before, or something…I’d say about half the time it’s in my bank account a day or two before the offical “pay day.”
I hated getting paid twice per month. I know it’s the same thing, but I always ran out of money
20th of the month.
Thursdays.
Once a month on the 25th (or the day before if the 25th is on a weekend. Appears straight into my bank account (no checks or anything like you seem fond of in the US).
I get paid every other Friday, and DH is paid on the 15th and 30th.
The dogs are not currently earning their keep!
Every other Tuesday.
Every Monday.
This, except my deposits happen Thursday evenings (payday is technically Friday). Every 3 months there’s an “extra” paycheck.
Once per month, on the first of the month. We used to get paid on the last working day of the month but some dickhead decided that, for a one-time accounting trick, to switch it to the first working day of the next month, thereby screwing everyone, every month, for eternity.
At my old company it was every other Friday, 26 paychecks/year.
Where I work now, the salaried-exempt employees (including me) get paid on the 15th and 30th of each month, or the preceding business day if payday falls on a non-business day.
Our non-exempt, hourly employees get paid every week.
Officially ever other Thursday, but with Direct Depoist it can be anywhere between the Saturday and Monday prior.
As an employer, I pay twice monthly. The 5th working day after the 15th and end of month. It makes reporting taxes easier and keeps surprise deadlines to a minimum.
First and 15th of each month; if the date falls on a weekend, then it’s the Firday before.
Once a month, on the last business day of the month.
Same.
As I’m a state employee in California, this month payday will be on the 30th, as Cesar Chavez Day is on Wednesday.
No, I don’t know either, and don’t really care. It’s a paid day off, whee!
(Sorry Mexico!)
