When I have M&Ms, I take small handfuls from the candy jar, put them on my desk and arrange them in patterns by color–then I break down the pattern in sections to eat them. I chew.
I let them melt a bit and then chew them up.
I like to cleave them in half with my teeth. That is, unless I chomp down a whole bunch in my mouth.
I sort them in groups containing each color. The leftovers that don’t fit into complete groupings get eaten first. A perfect bag of non-peanut M&Ms would contain 10 of each color. To consume, I"ll usually bite half the shell off and eat that first, then eat the rest of the M&M.
StG
I chew them up.
But that’s not all. I chew up the red, yellow and orange ones on the left side of my mouth and the blue, green and brown ones on the right side. And I always make sure to end with an even number of red ones (2, 4, 6 or 8).
Eating M&Ms is serious business.
I’ll hold two at a time in my hand, so the chocolate gets good and melty inside the shell, then I let the shell dissolve a bit in my mouth. Then, just before the shell is completely gone, I’ll push them against the roof of my mouth and spread that chocolate goodness all over the inside of my mouth.
They last much longer that way.
I prefer the plain ones frozen. I eat them two at a time, different colors of course. I let them hang in in my mouth for a few seconds than chomp. My sister eats only peanut M&Ms, two at a time, different colors of course, and puts one between the molars on each side, then chomps.
I primarily eat peanut M&Ms making chewing them up the only practical option.
When I eat M&Ms, my inner weird comes out for everyone to see. I gently bite them until the split, then I chew up one half. Next I put the 2nd half in my mouth and let it melt.
If it’s a peanut M&M, I bite it in half, scoop out the peanut and eat that, then repeat the above with the two chocolate halves.
I like them as ingredients in cookies and sprinkled on ice cream.
A bag of M&Ms that has been sitting for a while in the car can be fun. They aren’t completely melted, just softened up a bit.
Completely melted? Hm… (Heads for the lab.)
Handful and chew. I’ve never even considered letting them melt in my mouth. I will try this soonish.
My 2.5 y.o. grandson is going to be a blue M&M for Halloween this year.
I let them melt in my hand. I’m very patient.
With my mouth.
You don’t take them the ‘other’ way do you? Ewwwww…!
chew them up… and FROZEN!
…Back to the lab!
Same here, though pre-warming in my hand isn’t really necessary.
First thing I do is throw away all the W’s.
In quantity and occasionally to the point of nausea.
I still always do the deathmatch. Divide them up bracket style smash two together between thumb and forefinger and eat the one that cracks first(or both if they both cracks). Until you have on winner, then you savor it slowly.
