I learned this game as “Love Boot” (Love Boat) - draw a character (including spssshecial guest stars) out of the hat & drink & drink whenever they appeared on screen. I was called Love Boot because if the plot line revolved around Gopher or Issac or whichever regular you picked that night, you were bound to end up driving the porcelain bus.
Could be modified for most modern shows.
If I adhered to drinking game rules, I’d drink slower. Not because I’m drinking heavily, but because I sip a lot. I do the same with water.
I hear it by osmosis as well. I also recommend drinking whenever someone says something like “he gave the rose to her and I” or “his and I’s date went well.”
Or whenever the female wets her pants over dual bathroom sinks.
