What is your sign and do your character traits match?

Gemini Dragon
These are life’s performers, relishing the company of others and at their best center-stage. Gemini Dragons can pull off several tasks at once and juggle any number of conversations successfully, but undertaking anything in depth is not really their style.

Performer? Absolutely! I never felt more at home anywhere than on stage, in the limelight.

Multi-tasking? Absolutely! I can even walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.

I disagree with the last part of the last sentence, though. If I take on a project, I do it right and do it to the best of my ability. I put as much detail into it as I possibly can. Otherwise, it’s right on.

And here I thought I wouldn’t be hearing any Scot/sheep jokes until the Faires started…you’re a ba-a-a-ad girl, TM.

Good link, protohippy–that’s one of the ones I keep bookmarked.

Aries here (my birthday is the 9th, everyone!!!).

And, yes, I’m horny, extremely curious, and have trouble keeping my mouth shut.

Fairly classic Gemini here, with all the negatives that suggests–flighty, superficial, impatient, ambiguous, egocentric, indecisive, amoral, schizo, and never able to finish anythi

I have a theory that the human mind can conform its perception of itself to whatever psychological profile it is offered. Thus, growing up a “Cancer”, I came to see myself as having those traits–and to some degree, have them. But if I could convince myself that I were, in fact, a Leo, I would develop the traits of that sign.

Maybe.

Oddly enough, I was a classic Cancer when younger. But I am now a Pisces–still emotional, but without the strong familial loyalties at my moral center anymore. And I think–or hope–my public face is more a Gemini. All this more or less conforms to “sidereal astrology,” where my “Sun in Cancer on the cusp of Gemini with the Moon in Aries” becomes “Moon in Pisces, Sun in Gemini.”

Of course, I consider the predictive abilities of astrology to be bunk, but find its terminology an interesting way to define personalities.

Let’s see, I’m a Scorpio:

This sign is intense, secretive, and mainly concerned with handling other peoples resources and talents. Planets in Scorpio are expressed to the extreme limits of their energies and often have a fatalistic, all-or-nothing expression. Positive expression enables Scorpio to survive with and make the best of the most dire situations, and they frequently find new uses for old and forgotten items. However, this sign can be much too forceful, manipulative, and destructive when expressed negatively. Scorpio’s usually bring deep and lasting changes to all they encounter.

and a Tiger:

*Tigers are not impressed by power or money. They like being straight with everyone, and expect people to be straight with them in return. Yet at the same time, they are sensitive to the opinions of others and need their approval – which is generally guaranteed by their engaging personalities. But when a Tiger person feels let down and senses disapproval or criticism, or fails in some scheme that had been leapt into with great enthusiasm, he or she can become very depressed and low.

Nevertheless, like all felines, Tigers always leap up again for the next challenge and generally land on their feet. Their indomitable energy means that they cannot help burning the candle at both ends and they can dissipate their energy or act rashly or over-enthusiastically.*

Making me a:

Scorpio Tiger
No-one lives so intensely as the Scorpio Tiger, whose emotions run unfathomably deep. These are forceful people, strong-minded, and extremely focused, and they do not like to be contradicted.

Yep, sounds about right!

*The creative and romantic Lion rules the Zodiac’s House of Pleasure, insuring that any romp with this cat will include sensory as well as sensual delights. The playful Lion loves fun and is a supremely social animal. If Leos can act out their fantasies on a public (even private) stage, all the better, for those born under this sign truly believe they’re the star. As befits the King/Queen of the Zodiac, Leos are leaders. Their powerful presence, as well as staying power, insures them success in their conquests. Romance is also a princely quality for the Lion, and those who ensnare this passionate animal may well be rewarded with a wonderful and inventive lover. Like the ruling Sun, which is at the center of the universe, **Leos love to have the world revolve around them. ***

That’s me. Yep.

This is a little strange: parts of the different characteristics either match or are completely wrong.

This is all very true, except for the part that I bolded. That couldn’t be farther from the truth, actually. As a Virgo, my sign is much less fitting. It brings up being a worker (which I am) and giving “tireless efforts for the benefit of humanity, the joy of bringing the fruits of the Earth to the table of mankind” which is also true. I’m also good at streamlining jobs & putting work into analysing them, but most of the rest isn’t correct. I don’t “need to arrange, assimilate, and categorize.” I’m actually quite the opposite. But there’s some similarities in myself & the Virgo characteristics. But this:

It’s very far from the truth. Not close at all; very strange.

I’m a very atypical Capricorn. Nothing fits, excluding the date I was born.

You mean to tell me that the world does not revolve around me?
