What Jane Austen heroine are you?

I think you might be Mary Bennet, man.
I’m Lizzy Bennet, as well. But I agree that if you’ve the books, you know what answers are for which characters, so I sorta feel like they were leading questions. Not that I’m going to reveal that to Colin Firth, should he pay a call on me. That would be insupportable.

Lizzie

But, as Darcy put it, “I have had the pleasure of your acquaintance long
enough to know, that you find great enjoyment in occasionally professing
opinions which in fact are not your own.”

I so cheated.

I’m another Elinor Dashwood (yawn). Will one of you Elizabeth Bennetts invite me over to Pemberley once you settled, please?

Another Elinor Dashwood.

Same here. I’m Elinor and I only knew who 2 of the actresses were.

Another Anne Elliott. Pooh! I could see it coming and didn’t manage to avoid it, she’s too much of a doormat and I was hoping the quiz would surprise me.
Sorry Gallows Fodder I know she has some sterling qualities…

Another Anne Elliot - yay! Made my day - she’s my favorite.

Elizabeth Bennett here.

Another Elinor here. Hello, other Elinors!

Yep, yet another Elinor. Let’s form an Elinor club!

I half expected to be Anne, but alas, it was not to be.

Another Elinor here, though I haven’t read S&S. Also another who’s glad not to be Catherine.

I almost wouldn’t have minded being Emma, if Mr. Knightley came with it.

Catherine’s impressionable. And under-educated, and lacking in accomplishments. However, no doubt all those things will be remedied in her marriage to the very sensible Henry Tilney.

Personally I love Anne Eliot and perversely enough, dear little Fanny Price, but I could never be either of them.

Lizzie.

My daughter is named for Elinor Dashwood - and Nelle Harper Lee. Elinor, but we call her Nell.

Darcy. My friends have called me that since prep school. I hated it at first, but I wouldn’t be called anything else at this point.

The family home isn’t that depicted in A&E’s miniseries, but it does get compliments and I do have a fondness for early 19th century events.

P.S. Hope you don’t mind me crashing the party, ladies.

How many of you are actually more akin to some of the other delicious Austen characters, such as **Lady Catherine de Bourgh ** and Mrs Norris?

Another Elizabeth Bennet here! Funny because my name is actually Elizabeth.

I really have no idea if I’m like her or not. The description sounds right on, but I’ve never read anything by Jane Austen. Maybe I’ll check out Pride and Prejudice, though.

Elizabeth Bennet! Sweet.

I always said that Jennifer Ehle is what I would look like if I were pretty.

Rhiannon, rent the BBC miniseries with Jennifer Ehle as Lizzy. It’s really faithful to the book, and full of hot men in tall boots.

I’m Fanny Price. Ugh, I’ve never read Mansfield Park, but I don’t think this is good.
