What kind of "Ask the" threads are you hoping for?

I have her, and the Buffy Library playset too!

I could have opened that, I guess, but you are 9 days too late.

I’ve been asked to do a Ask the former “player” but out of respect for my wife, then I’ll pass.

I would like to see an Ask the professional gambler even if he/she wouldn’t give away trade secrets.

Yeah, when the phrase is used to encompass everything outside of New York City, it just makes it kind of meaningless.

You sure you don’t mind? Though I might have more than can even fit on PM…(hopes for an offer to exchange e-mails).

As for the division of Upstate, I’m not sure I ever actually sat down and thought about it. Fer example, I don’t think of anything west of Syracuse as “upstate”, it’s western NY at that point. Probably north of the Hudson Valley? I guess the Hudson Valley is considered upstate, too, though? I’m fairly sure I am in Upstate, though.

I might also like an “Ask the (ex) Indian soldier”. But mainly because my uncle is a retired Lt. Colonel and I’d like to know what it was like. He tells me some stories but never too much dirty stuff cause I’m a girl and all that.

I did this one a couple of years ago, but would be happy to answer any questions you have.

I’d read “Ask the creationist” but I guess it would just become a huge trainwreck. I’d also like to see a “Ask the critical beautician when she is not trying to sell you anything”. I’m also curious about the American Unitarian Church, which, as I understand it, basically is a church for atheists. “Ask the gay woman” is also a thread I’d be interested to read.
And I’m glad someone started the “Ask the Prisongard” thread.

I could offer “ask the Dutch lady” but I guess that’s been done, already. I could also do: “Ask the psychologist” “Ask the botanic” or “Ask the government worker”, if anyone is interested.

I third the “Ask the former foster kid” thread.

And “Ask the former working prostitute.” I think that would be interesting.

“Ask the Guy that worked at Area 51”

“Ask the Nymphomaniac”

“Ask the Roadie”

I’d love for lalenin to start an “Ask the person who grew up in Communist Cuba” thread.

Ask the hand (‘cos the face ain’t answerin’), for me.

(Oh, and Ask Keira Knightley before she pops round to Colophon’s house for the weekend, obviously…)

I’d also like to see an ask the adoptee(s)* thread.

*to get the perspectives of several people since everyone is different.

Ask the cannibal. (I’m reading a book now called “The History of Cannibalism”. For reals, yall.)

Well, I could start this one, but I have had a fairly tramautic experience with adoption, so I would definitely want to have people who have good experiences to chime in.

I decided to go ahead and start one, Anaamika…I hope you don’t mind. You can find it here. I hope you will participate!

If anyone is interested in an “Ask the woman who gave UP a child for adoption” thread, I’ll do it. Just let me know if anyone WANTS one.

I would love it.

I don’t mind at all, dear, and I’m already in there.

Missy2U, I’d love to read that one, if you would be willing to start it.

(I’m glad I started this thread, it sure is fruitful. whistles Hey, Idle Thoughts! More for you to compile!)

Anyway, it occurs to me I’d love to see an “Ask the Public Defender” thread. Now I bet they have some interesting stories. Maybe ** Bricker ** could start it.

I’d like to see Ask the Public Defender, Ask the Graphic Artist, Ask the Academic.

(I should have read the last post better; I’d have seen **Ask the Public Defender ** had already been asked for!)
