Jeans, a t-shirt (kinda tight but kinda not), my hightops or my sneakers, and a zip up hoodie or a pullover. I don’t like summers in Arizona, I like being bundled up.
I hate wearing old ratty stuff, or stuff with even a small stain on it that you can barely see; if I know it’s there it’s going to bug me.
But I also like dressing up somewhat too. Can’t say I really feel “comfortable” in it, but after a while in the clothes it feels pretty good.
Warm weather: floaty sun-dress type thing, or long skirt and a strappy vest top.
Cold weather: Fluffy sweater (angora, mohair, cashmere type-thing) and boot-cut trousers in corduroy or velvet - I need soft, cosy stuff when the weather’s lousy.
Or, if I’m home alone, my towelling bathrobe and slippers.
I wear a suit and tie everyday for work, so I’m comfortable in those. On weekends I’m a jeans and tee-shirt type, but I really look forward to wearing my tuxedo. It is comfortable, looks great, and means that I’m getting ready to go someplace special.
Flannel jammie pants and a sweatshirt in this weather, baggy boxers and a t-shirt when it’s warm. Obviously, I don’t leave the house dressed like this, but when I have nowhere I have to be, and I can just burrow into my nest in my grubby-comfies, I am a happy girl.
huge pants, baggy shirt – my usual home uniform. My home clothes are distinguished by the fact that most of them have small to moderate levels of dried paint and/or varnish on them.
Jeans, and a comfy shirt. (T-shirt that’s a cotton/spandex blend for summer, flannel/polarfleece/etc. top for winter.) I perfer my clothes to be fitted, to avoid the “where did my waist go?” effect loose and baggy stuff does to me.
I’d say a tank top under a colorful button-down shirt, with jeans and flipflops or sneakers, depending on the weather. I like my jeans a little loose, with at least one big pocket to hide a book in. I try never to go anywhere without a decent book to keep me company. If I don’t have the right size pockets, I make sure I’ve got a big purse.
Dickies shortsleeve work shirt, kakhi. Baggy shorts. Flip flops. It will get cold around Thanksgiving, I’ll switch to Dickies work pants, blue and Sperry TopSiders.
Hipster jeans that are close-fitting around the thighs and butt, but long enough so that they bunch up above my shoes. (Not too low-riding though – I don’t wish to inflict my butt crack on unsuspecting civlians.)
Leather slip-on shoes.
Plain WHITE or BLACK t-shirt, tight around the upper arms and waist.
At home: trackie pants (or boxers if it’s warm) and a good quality cotton t-shirt that has been washed and worn a lot of times so it’s as smooth as butter.
Out: wide-leg jeans, a short sleeve top, and a light jumper.
