What kind of clothes do you feel most comfortable in?

Whew! I was beginning to feel like a complete weirdo reading all the “jeans/sweats/tennies” posts!!

I feel the best (most comfortable) when I’m dressed nicely. Maybe it’s because for my job, I only get to wear a uniform top and jeans, but I LOVE putting on a skirt and heels.

Any excuse to do so (though lately there haven’t been many :frowning: )

Me, too: my “uniform” is a skirt and sweater, with low-heeled pumps at work. Easy to dress up with pearls. On weekends, usually a denim or khaki skirt with a cotton sweater.

At this point I have to say, “Anything that isn’t a uniform.”

I’m another suit & tie guy. At work, it’s slacks and decent shirt.

I look good in a tux, IMnshO; check my second link in the Me thread. I should seek out more opportunities to wear one.

A light chemise top and my lovely pair of loose drawstring linen trousers is good for most of Texas weather.

A pair of jeans or my black slacks, my black turtleneck, a pair of combat boots, and either my leather coat or my black trench coat in the winter.

Unless it’s down to the forties and fifties during the day, you won’t catch me out of my Chaco sandals, though. Who needs socks?!

Friends learned long ago not to invite me to a party and say, “Oh, wear whatever you feel comfortable in,” because I would show up in a 1930s silk-satin evening gown, strappy heels and a cute little Schiaparelli purse.

I’m a little surprised at the “jeans” answer. I mean, from a physical standpoint, sweats or boxers are ever so much more comfy.

If I had my druthers, I would wear a muu-muu. Constantly. A cotton one in the summer and a fur-lined one in the winter.
heh.

I think jeans are way comfy. Not just any jeans, though. I like the tight boot-cut ones. I like them long too, so the back of them gets frayed. It’s hard for me to find jeans that fit good though, because my legs are quite long.

My fur and heels. I have never left the house. I want to drive the car at 100mph but my husband says I will get arrested.

Chinos and a t-shirt. Dark socks, too. Shorts only when it’s really warm out (80s or above).

I don’t like long sleeves, so I’ll usually wear a vest if it gets a bit chilly.

Khaki shorts, sneakers, and a t-shirt until it drops below 30 F. The I switch over to (long) khakis/cargos, work boots, and the t-shirt. Cold? We don’t know what cold means…

I once bet another guy who always wears shorts $20 to see who would be the first one to break down and wear long pants (excluding events where the shorts would be inapropriate). I won that bet in late February after the third snowfall of the season.

It’s always fun to dress up on a random day and see how much it shocks people!

A hoodie and jeans. Extra points if the jeans are the kind with, like, 3% spandex so they stretch. And i just adore hoodies. The Aeropostale kind are so so soft.

Nice fitting jeans, cool fitted t-shirt, and my favorite… high heels of any kind.

I have several pairs of cotton drawstring pants that I’d wear every day if I could. They are eminently comfortable, but my fiancee loathes them. She sighs and postures and complains every time I wear them. But I love’em, and I ain’t throwin’ em out.

Those, and a hawaiian shirt, and a pair of sandals (yes, with socks), and I’m content.

Although I don’t mind dressing up, either, as long as I don’t have to wear shoes that hurt. I clean up very nice.

Oh, I also have a pair of flannel boxers that feel real nice, too…

I love comfort clothing.

For cleaning the house, sport bra and boxers.
For hanging out with friends, not going anywhere, flannel pants and a tee shirt
For hanging out with friends in public, jeans and a tee shirt.
