What kind of food will you eat?

I’ll eat anything that don’t crawl off the plate, or maybe even then if it’s not moving too fast.

I’m not a Piscestarian though. Them people is kinda rank.

As is gravy!

I fully understand… now help yourself to some of this Apple Butter Long Pork Loin.

Care for some fava beans and a nice Chianti to go with it?

I try to limit dairy and grains since they tend to cause stomach irritation, congestion and headaches, but everything else is fair game! I’ll try anything edible at least once.

If it isn’t liver, tofu, blue cheese or sushi, I’ll eat it.

Free Jeffrey Dahmer!

Ethical vegetarians have a legitimate beef with us meat-eaters, and I don’t object to their voicing their opinions.

As for octopods, I used to avoid eating them because of their intelligence–until I watched some videos of octopods seeping through narrow openings to attack, envelop, and kill their crab prey. I eat crabs too, but something about how those tentacled monstrosities moved convinced me that their intelligence was totally alien to mine, and that if they had a chance to practice intelligence on a large scale, we’d face terrors of Lovecraftian magnitude. Now I feel that it’s my patriotic duty as a human to eat octopus.

I’m a spice wimp myself, and there are some specific foods (organ meats, bitter flavors, soggy bread/pastry, and others) that I dislike, but as far as categories go, just file me under “omnivore”.

Thank you ! This eases my conscience.

I do not share your, or their, views. Voicing an opinion is fine, but get the hell out of my face when I’m frying my chicken.

I specifically don’t eat dairy because I’m allergic to caesin, but that doesn’t mean I have a problem with other animal byproducts. But I still decided that, since you put it first, I had to not vote for it.

I probably would not eat certain highly intelligent animals, either–though I’ve never been offered a chance. Since they are rare, I might justify it with “The animal won’t get any less dead,” as long as I’m not financially supporting the slaughter.

I wouldn’t eat ape, and probably wouldn’t eat whale or elephant or monkey. I think that’s where I draw the line.

Things I won’t eat, including the aforementioned bugs are: Haggis, filter organs such as kidneys and liver, cilantro, feta cheese (goat cheese too in case it’s not the same thing?), mangos, gefilte fish and lamb. I’ve haven’t eaten lamb since I was a little kid, I think it had something to do with Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop. But I have eaten other puppet and muppet type animals. Okay, not frogs either.

Like Mangetout, I’ll eat anything.

Hmm, I don’t care for cilantro, and don’t eat gefilte fish, but I’ll eat the rest of what’s on your list. I’m especially fond of lamb.
