What kind of toppings do you like on your pizza?

Garlic and chopped, fresh clams. Divine!

My favorite is pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives. Yum.

I’ve had a couple of veggie pizzas that were delicious, so I won’t count those out.

Also fine with sausage if others want it. But not hamburger. Not on a pizza.

I used to get one with a thin, crispy crust. Awsome! Used to get the biggest one they had and take the leftovers home and put on *MORE CLAMS! *

Haven’t been to that place in years. I wonder if it is still open?

Donner meat was available in a certain small area of California but supplies ran out pretty quickly.

Most of them.

But not anchovies. And pineapple is only good in combination with ham (or similar, like Canadian bacon) and few if any other ingredients (onion might work, for instance).

But ham, bacon, beef, assorted sausages, pepperoni? All good. Sweet peppers, hot peppers, onions, olives, mushrooms? Absolutely. Broccoli, spinach, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes? Why not? All of the above at once, or any individually, or any other combination.

My favorite is a chicken-bacon-pineapple with Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce and extra Jack cheese. I also love pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, bacon, ham, any type of beef, sweet peppers, most common cheeses. I like black olives but I never get them because nobody else likes them. (waaah I pick them off but I can still smell them!)

I enjoyed a seafood pizza once with crab and tiny shrimps, a white sauce and sweet onions.

I’ve never had anchovy. Is it just a salty fishy flavor?

Either pineapple and ham (or Canadian bacon), or double mushroom. Depends on my mood.

beef and pork sausage is my #1 (regular sausage, not spicy)

ham and pineapple is option 2.

Some places have a Meat Lovers special and I’ll get that. Theres usually beef, pepperoni, ham, sausage, and maybe bacon on it. It varies with each restaurant.

Mushroom and olives.
Can also add onions, green pepper, artichoke, anchovy.
Or just a veggie pizza.

Meat, and lots of it. Bacon, Canadian or otherwise, or pepperoni is best, any other kind will do. Extra cheese. Mushrooms. I like pineapple, but the wife would prefer none (but she’ll still have a slice or two of mine).

There are different kinds of anchovies. Some of the high-quality ones from the Mediterranean aren’t very salty or fishy tasting and are fairly mild in general. However, those aren’t the ones you typically get when you order them on pizza in the U.S. You get the cheap canned version and they are both very salty and fishy tasting. They also seem a little hairy even though they really aren’t. I can see why most people don’t like them on pizza but they can be good when used in moderation. Anchovies provide a strong umami flavor profile and are used in everything from Worcestershire to real Caesar salads for that reason.

Before I changed how I ate, Extra Cheese and Sausage was my default. Sometimes I would get Mushrooms to mix it up. I wouldn’t get pepperoni because I felt it made the pizza too greasy but would eat it if that was what was ordered.

I eat better now so rarely have Pizza (I miss it A LOT) but when I do have it, I load it up with Veggies. Everything but olives. I hate olives.

Thin and crispy tuna and onion.

My favorite pizza has pepperoni, mushrooms and onions, from a restaurant called Talk Of The Town in Glens Falls, NY

Huh. The OP just got banned. Like a moment ago. He still shows online. I wonder if his pizza choice had anything to do with it.

I prefer pepperoni and green peppers. Sometimes I might add sausage if I’m feeling extra hungry.

I don’t care for cracker-like thin crusts or Chicago deep dish style.

I happen to know that Cecil really, really hates black olives on his pizza. He picks them off one by one with a fork, muttering under his breath.

By the way, this is possibly the stupidest and most pusillanimous thread I’ve ever seen in Cafe Society.

Sausage and onions.

You obviously have some strong feelings about pizza.

For deep dish or chain style: sausage, onion, and mushroom. Or thin crust with red peppers, olives and as many other veggies as I can get.

Otherwise, pizza margherita (fresh mozz, tomatoes and basil), or a white pie with chicken and onions. Sometimes bacon, mushroom, and spinach.

I used to like this pizza that had gyro meat, onions, and olives, but I don’t live near that restaurant anymore.

Never had a clam pizza, but that sounds really good.
