What kinds of pets do you have, and what are their names?

She is cute indeed.
It’s okay though, I know what you meant.

I have a fat cat named Tigger whose favorite place is on my lap when I am in bed watching TV and I have a ferret named Dakota, who gets into everything when I let him out of his cage and who likes to drag clothing under my dresser to make a temporary nest with. He used to seal my shoes, but gave up on that.

Little black kitty-cat named Steinway.

I am the semi-proud part-time owner/butler of The Duke of Adorableness, The King Of Cuteness, The Czar of Furriness, The Prince of Bunnies, Payton el Bun Conover.

He’s a 5 1/2 year old 2.2lb Siamese Sable Netherland Dwarf rabbit who is named after the greatest running back in NFL history, “Sweetness” himself, the late Walter Payton.

Payton is quite possibly the most spoiled rabbit in history. I’d say more but it’s time for his apple and he’s giving me hideously dirty glares 'cause I’m 2 minutes late in giving it to him.

Fucking rabbits.

Mastiff X - Oscar
Tabby Kitten - Cujo (he may be the size of my foot - but he believes he’s scary!)

I have two dogs and a cat at the moment.
Dogs:
Rainbow- part golden lab, part collie, and part rottweiler. She’s basically black, but her legs have stripes of colors, thus her name. She’s such a smart dog and really protective. Very intimidating if you don’t know her, but terribly sweet.

Mugzie- a walking rug. I’m not sure what sort of dog she is. A bit on the gender-confused side as she seems to think she’s a boy dog. (definitely a girl, though) Not the brightest star in the universe, but friendly.

Cat:
Blondie- an orangey-blond tabby. She’s more or less permanently attached to me. She’s so cute! And so smart! She’s my favorite of the bunch, though the rest of the family doesn’t care for her much.

We’ve had several pets before, but there’s only two that hung around for longer than a few months. We had a Yorkshire terrier named Hobbit and a Maltese named Chien. (pronounced “Sheen”. Much simpler.)

I am Cat Lady.
I have six cats. Miss Cleo is momma cat and kits are Tiger, Mr. Patches, Jacey, Brynn, and Majick.

There’s also Smokes the Ferret. Can’t forget him, or he’ll get my toes.

Black cat called Mojo

My little brother has two cats, named Tiger and Suzy.

If they were mine, they would have normal names like Spoon and Bull Horn.

I’m presently owned by four cats. Somehow we got a “theme” going when naming the cats.

Male Grey tabby - Silver (deceased)
Female Striped tabby - Crystal
Male Black shorthair - Onyx
Male Flame Point siamese - Zircon (he’s got blue eyes)
Male Orange tabby - Toe-Paz (extra toes on front paws)

We also have two STUPID dogs of indeterminate heritage, other than their parents must have been a rock and a stump. Names of Argus and Teddy.

All of my animals always have been and always will be RESCUES!!! www.petfinder.org

Tortie Cat - Kitty Haynes (I wanted to name her Vichysoisse, but EVERYONE in my family said NO)

Purebred English Springer Spaniel - Paget (her name when I adopted her)

I don’t need KIDS, I’ve got PETS!!! They are both the sunshine in my life, but will also lead to my ultimate demise, I’m afraid.

My puppy’s name is Tigger. She’s a golden retriever. She’s very placid and gentle.

My cat’s name is Esmerelda Anne Martha Weatherwax Sackville-Baggins Hutton Donovan III. Esme for short. She’s the drama queen. The long name seemed appropriate. :stuck_out_tongue:

Tigger and Esme

I am currently owned by a plethora of animals!!

2 dogs:

Reba, a shepherd mix and Polly, a yellow lab, who, my husband’s protestations aside, really belongs to our 2 year old daughter. Probably the way it should be.

Currently 6 cats:
Felicia The old lady; black & white adopted off the street sixteen years ago.
Long John Male orange & white three-legger, fourteen years old; rescued as a kitten from someone who was going to take him to a shelter. His sister Muffin (also a three-legger, but black & white) died last month.
Tuxedo Male black & white, year-and-a-half old; adopted because three cats just weren’t enough.
Halloween Female calico, Tuxedo’s sister, and mother of:
Pumpkin Male three months; named because he was orange & round, although now he’s starting to show white striping on his legs.
His brother is orange and white and has been promised to a friend; for this reason I have been trying to avoid naming him although my wife has started calling him Demon.
