What Madame Defarge Has Been Up To Lately -- A Yarny MMP

Sure, you’ve been sick, but did you have anyone slice open your abdomen and yank out an organ?

I am in a hotel with the s l o w e s t internet service ever.

And I am hungry. “Hello room service, send me Page Three”

That is all.

Hey, anyone who’s willing to help me find a bar in that town is on my side. Good luck prepping for your show!

rigs, have you ever read the Outlander series?

Oooh, the Outlander series is bad but fun. They’re comfort reading for me.

Work was dull, it’s very hot, Alastair and meli coming to Toronto would be fun.

I think it’s time for bed. I had a horrible dream last night that I had to go back to work at a previous place of employment, and wear a gas mask with plastic things that jabbed into my mouth. Better dreams tonight, I hope.

Sweet dream, Li-Li! And isn’t the Outlander series so much fun? Trashy, but pretty good for what it is.

For some reason my skin is not happy with me today, so I’m being all girly and sitting here with a mask draped over my face, making me look quite horrific. Hopefully it’ll work. It smells faintly of tomatoes. I hate tomatoes.

Home from work, I had to do a shift at the old, slow store. Funny how not tired I am when I have to work at a store with air conditioning.

MamaTigs, next time just release the hounds, it’ll teach the delivery guy to read instructions.

meeks, I’m mid thirties, but I am not a Brit. Maybe BooFae will sell you 'im indoors cheap.

Kat, there’s plenty of organ yanking in this thread. <snerk>

Gee, I think a certain congressman had something other than legislation on his mind, when he says:

<snerk>

Why are you in a hotel, MBG? Did you travel somewhere? Did I miss something? It’s vitally important, you know, that we all be completely up to date on every detail, no matter how minute or mundane, of each others’ lives, you know.

I just finished up with my second 100-count batch of price tags. Running total is $3088. Not including the $1, $2, or $3 bracelets. There is one set for $30, a couple for $25 and about a dozen for $20, but most are under $20. I’ll take pictures of the better stuff and the booth and all for ya’ll.

I’m tahred.

I call first dibs on whatever you don’t sell at the show

Squee! And where’s the pics?

I’m looking forward to the jewelry pics also. They sound fabulous.

If you’re hungry, you don’t want page three. Although it did have homemade fudge on it, the pizza and PB M&Ms didn’t come out until page four. . . or was that on page two?

gt, what book did you read for book club? I wrote this to you at the end of the last MMP, but you might have missed it. . . or you could have been ignoring me.

Anyway, I’ll repost it in case you weren’t.

Yoohoo - Special1 - I think you need to weigh in on this thread. (the only thing I have to say about it - and I don’t think it’s worth saying in that thread - is, the OP mentions the KJV of the Bible - No Jews I know would ever reference that edition.

Thanks Rosie! Went over there and weighed in.

It’s not as far-fetched as one might initially think, BTW – both the words “nephilim” and “hapala” come from the same root – NPL – which revolves around the act of falling (or … well, being pushed, I guess :D)
Except one is biblical and the other is Modern. So I doubt there is any true connection.

Oh, and in my haste I forgot…

Good Morning Everybody! It’s Wednesday!! Rise and Shine!!!

(You, yeah you there on the West Coats, Waddya mean you’re just going to sleep!? :stuck_out_tongue: It’s still Tuesday you say? )

I’m not even going to sleep yet. It’s only 10:27 P.M. here. You’re waaaaay early.

Cool post in the Bible interpretation thread.

I’m bored again tonight. I’m turning into an attention. . . um. . .craver. I’ve posted more in the past few days than I have probably in weeks. And no one will argue with me. I’ve had a few takers but nothing serious. pouting This procrastination thing sure is powerful.

And how’s your day going?

No it’s not early! ::stomps foot::

See? Somebody is arguing with you

(You’re right of course, it’s too early to go to bed at your end. Or are you asking for entertainment and going to bed at the same time again? ;))

I’ve always had a soft spot for pouters… So how you doin’? (I’m incorrigible, aren’t I? :o)

A bit early to tell… it’s only 8:45 AM and, while already at work, I’m still working on my first cup of coffee (so I can plausibly deny full faculty of my senses if anybody quotes me!)

See how easy you gave in?

If I had entertainment at the same time as going to bed, I wouldn’t be sitting here typing on a message board!

I’m bored, I tells ya. Maybe I should just stop procrastinating. But how fun would that be?! Ok, time for bed.

Have a wonderful Humpday!*
*what? That’s what Mork calls Wednesday.

Yeah ,I’m soft that way…

I resemble that remark… and I’m married! :smack:

And I’m accused of TMI!? :stuck_out_tongue:

But… Tuesday is HumpDay. Well, at least if you work Sunday through Thursday, it is!
Of course, given the correct interpretation, any day can be a hump day; and that will make it a good day, too…

In the mafia games, something someone says which indicates he’s one of the bad guys. I’m in the sub list for this one and wondering what does the goddess think of people who swim like a brick but dive real good…

I can send you 'im indoors, if you’re prepared to put up with the snoring…

Oh, OK. Guess that means I’m guilty as charged, then.

Actually, I’m usually good. But when I’m bad, I’m better
