What Movie Characters would you invite for dinner?

In the spirit of other threads, I thought I would start this one before anyone else did.

Six People you are allowed to invite:
My movie characters, in no particular order, are:

 1. Martin Riggs, Lethal Weapon 1, his wit and silliness appeals to me.

2.Maximus - Gladiator. Discussing politics, looking at his legs .

 1. Rosalind Russell, from His Girl Friday. Witty, smart, quick.

 2. Steve McQueen - The Great Escape. The stories, that smirk.

 3. Indiana Jones - Fascinating stories. That smirk.

 4. James Bond - (Sean Connery Version) Great Stories, well dressed. That smirk.

Hmmm…Let’s see.

 1. Martin Riggs–You’re spot on with that one.
 2. Jefferson (Jeff) Blue
 3. Inigo Montoya
 4. John McClane–I bet he and Riggs would get along pretty well
 5. Peter Venkman
 6. James P. Sullivan
 1. Bud White - L. A. Confidential

 2. Maximus - Gladiator

 3. Captain Jack Aubrey - Far Side Of The World

 4. John Nash (Young, Good Looking, not Mental) - A Beautiful Mind

 5. Terry Thorne - Proof Of Life

 6. Jeffery Wigand - The Insider

and as a Back-up Sid 6.7 - Virtuosity

all played by Russell Crowe.

Jessica Rabbit.

The entire Corleone family (yes, even Tom Hagen), though they might kill me before, during, or after the meal.

Andre Gregory.

Hell, he kept me listening for 2 hours and I wasn’t even there.

 1. Inigo Montoya
 2. Aragorn Son of Arathorn
 3. Legolas
 4. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (in her SMG incarnation)
 5. Seigneur Benedick (from Kenneth Branagh’s Much Ado About Nothing)
 6. Beatrice (from Kenneth Branagh’s Much Ado About Nothing)

The peasant chick from The Name of the Rose. She’s a peasant chick, right? So she’s probably hungry a lot, and I could feed her up good, and she’s going to be really grateful. Then there’s a whole lot to say about the way she shows gratitude…

I really should be ashamed of myself now, shouldn’t I…

Her, though. No question.

Robin Hood as played by Errol Flynn. It would be pretty cool to have a guest who swaggers in with a poached deer over his shoulders, slams it on the table, sits down in some obnoxious guest’s chair and makes a quick seditious political speech.

But I may have to ask him not to trash the place and kill half the guests on the way out.

Hmm…i think it would be really interesting to share dinner wtih the guy from Law & Order Criminal Intent! he’s probably my favorite tv series character.

I’d also like to invite Lizzy from Pride & Prejudice (BBC version) i think i was born in the wrong century - I think Lizzy and I could relate to eachother

Hmm…most of the “good guy” star trek characters would be interesting to share a meal with… not sure which ones i’d like best.

So your heating’s out then?
[li]Sherlock Holmes[/li][li]Doctor Watson–between the two, the stories![/li][li]Seconding James Bond[/li][li]And Professor Indiana Jones, too.[/li][li]Morganna Le Fay–for a less macho touch[/li][li]Cleopatra–for charm’s sake alone.[/li]
Silentgoldfish - Huh?, I just like RC.

Uhhh … is porn technically a movie…??

When I opened this thread, I hoped someone hadn’t already beaten me to my girl. Tell you what, give me your address and I’ll send her over afterwards.

You didn’t think that all the hot air from having 6 RC’s would help save on your heating bill?
I’m poking fun at Crowe, who I don’t like, not you

I thought it was because he’s so hot, she wouldn’t need to have the heating on.

He’s a great actor. He’s a real person who doesn’t play the Hollywood game, kiss ass or hold back his thoughts and feelings to make nicey so that everybody will love him. He’s refreshing.

(So is Colin Farrell.)

Ack! I meant to add that I’d also like to have them both other for dinner.

Doesn’t seem to me that the women here are interested in dinner. How about some I wouldn’t invite? (A hijack?)
