My nomination would be Battlefield Earth. What about you?
Star Wars Holiday Special.
Maria Carey’s “Glitter”…WOW was that bad…
The movie version of Dungeons and Dragons . Favorite line: “People of Ismir, I now proclaim that you are all equal.”
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. There’s a fan-made version which is not too bad, but I’d like to see either Joel or Mike & the Bots handle this one.
Armageddon
Star Wars: Episode I
Signs.
2001 A space Odyssey
Something with Charlton Heston. Omega Man maybe, or Soylent Green.
ITR: i cant believe you think that line is even better than
“Give me the ROD!!!”
in other news, my friends and I plan on renting “Croc Hunter” and putting it through the MST ropes.
Feeders 2 and Jeepers Creepers
Waterworld
maybe the Harry Potters
the cartoon version of Lord of the Rings
I would say that the movie I would like to see them take on would be The movie that will not be named and was never made*
*Highlander 2 for those that must know. Now excuse me whilst I purge the memory of it again from my mind <Goes for the heavy drink>.
Vertical Limit…?
But only because they’d get to say…
Rock climbing, Joel… Rock climbing.
At The Earth’s Core
Akira (A bad film no matter what anyone claims)
Airport 1975
The Swarm
Swept Away
And just to see some funny jokes made during a good movie:
Citizen Kane
The Grapes of Wrath
The Vampire Lovers
I bet nobody on SDMB has seen this one, The Neptune Factor aka The Neptune Disaster with Ben Gazzara, Walter Pidgeon, Yvette Mimieux and Ernest Borgnine as Mack. A research sealab falls into an abyss during an earthquake and a Canadian minisub must rescue them. The monsters from the deep that harass our heroes are nothing more than goldfish and lobsters shot at extreme close-up. The only redeeming feature of the film is seeing the Canadian Navy scramble HMCS submarine Onodaga to search for survivors.
Icerigger, I have seen the Neptune Disaster. I think you are wrong: Yvette is a redeeming factor in any movie. In her prime, a serious babe.
My candidates for MSTK treatment:
Planet of the Apes
Independence Day
Twister
Enemy of the State
A Simple Plan
Oh yes, how could I forget:
Moonraker
Showgirls
