Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains. Quirky film that played in endless rotation on Night Flight starring Diane Lane as the leader of an all-girl punk band.
The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu. Peter Sellers’ final film that he was actually involved in making (as oposed to the Pink Panther clip shows that came out after his death).
And as long as we’re including TV series, why Max Headroom isn’t out on DVD I’ll never understand.
Parker Lewis Can’t Lose Duckman
The majority of The Goodies (Two “Best-Of” DVDs and a similar number of VHS cassettes don’t count, IMHO- the show ran for 10 years!) Zulu Dawn Monty Python’s Flying Circus (“And Now For Something Completely Different” and “Fliegender Zirkus” notwithstanding- apparently some of the seasons have been released on R1 DVD, but I haven’t seen any here in Australia yet)
A large number of '80s cartoons
Didn’t see Elendil’s Hier’s p[ost or the response to it. Unless otherwise assured, I’m assuming that Ebay DVD is a “bootleg”. I’ve seen bootlegs of other “unavailable” films, like The Star Wars Holiday Special
Les Miserables (A French Film from 1995 where the Victor Hugo story is set in World War II) Sidekicks (You would think Chuck Norris would have enough influence to get this sucker released)
Huh, I didn’t realize that. The only thing that Jason Alexander’s done that I would actively seek out.
Two other TV shows that I am holding out hope on coming to DVD: Dark Skies, which is apparently slated for an October 2007 release. We’ll see. Daria. If it ever comes out, it will be heavily neutered, stripped of all the fun music that was on the TV airings (for which I still lament the DVD release of Keen Eddie).
*Until The End Of The World isn’t available on DVD, at least not in the US. We have it on VHS, it is such a good movie.
*The theatrical release of Bladerunner. We have it on VHS and some sort of bootleg copy of the film on DVD, since our VHS copy is not in the best condition since it has been watched so much.
