what NBC shows do you like?

I watch way more PBS than NBC. (We have OTA only but with a huge antenna, so we get all the networks plus MeTV, AntennaTV, Movies! and THiS.)

I’ll add my vote for Community, if it ever comes back. In the meantime, if you can add an antenna and get The CW, Community reruns are on there. America’s Got Talent can be kind of funny, but there’s not much actual content there; most of the time is spent on building up to the acts or discussing the acts afterward. Honestly, the only other things we watch on NBC are Dateline and the evening news. It’s probably the worst of the major networks. The Michael J. Fox Show is the only new fall offering that shows any promise.

Grimm is the only NBC show I watch regularly. Love the beavers!

Grimm is a great show.

The season finale of American Ninja Warrior is tonight. It actually has nothing to do with ninjas, it’s a succession of what are basically insanely difficult obstacle courses. It’s a heck of a lot of fun.

Hannibal is excellent, although very much about mood rather than plot.

Parks and Rec and Community are great, although Community really wants to be watched from the beginning).

Law and Order SVU is about the only one I watch.

Grimm is a good show, though you’re missing an awful lot of backstory if you jump in for season 3.

Camp is amazing and Rachel Griffiths the bomb. I have no idea if they’ll renew it for a second season, but I’m hooked. I give it a 9.

there is a lot of crap out there, a lot not worth watching. but it doesn’t take* much* to have plenty to watch, frankly.

a show here and there plus local news - at least it’s free. I am really against paying for TV.

After seeing the crapfest that was the finale of Siberia, which I’d enjoyed up until last night, I’d say the programming department at NBC is indeed populated by idiots. Back to PBS and certain cable channels for me.

Nobody likes Parenthood?

Apart from the comedies, this in my opinion is the best show on NBC.

It has an excellent cast (Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Craig T Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia, among others). It’s heartwarming, amusing, and thoughtful. It’s a very well done dramatic series.

Dear god, NBC has almost nothing left. That gag from Family Guy “NBC: We used to have Seinfeld, remember?” is even truer today!

I am a fan of Community (who isn’t?), and Grimm & Revolution are interesting shows but I have a lot of catching up to do with them, and that’s IT! If NBC doesn’t get some hits this new season (and c’mon…a show about a cop in a wheelchair and they called it IRONSIDE?), then they are going to be in some serious trouble.

Parks & Recreation seems to be an acquired taste. Some people think it’s the best show of the last 100 years, but I find it to be the most boring and pointless program on TV.

Maybe you’re just whooshing me, fusoya, but Ironside is a reboot of the Raymond Burr show.

I guess I haven’t paid much attention to NBC lately. I didn’t know that they’re doing a remake of Ironside. I liked the original series. Now I’m not sure if I want to watch the new one to see if it’s as good, or avoid it so as not to taint my memories of the original.

Remember Leadside, the Get Smart parody of Ironside? That was a funny episode.

Another vote for Community.

I don’t think I’ve watched any of these shows, except for part of Chicago Fire, which I thought was good but have yet to become hooked on.

I haven’t watched SNL since Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo left. I think the only network programming I watch nowadays (and by that I mean the big three: NBC, CBS, and ABC) is NCIS, sometimes NCIS: LA, and Big Bang Theory. I liked Vegas last season, and was very disappointed that they cancelled it.

Everything else I guess I watch in reruns (like Boardwalk Empire and Frasier) or on-line when I’m overseas (like Family Guy).

I used to love CSI and CSI: NY, until Grissom and Stella left. Don’t think I’ve watched more than a half-dozen episodes of either since.

Grimm is one of my very favorite things in the world. (They disappointed me a bit in season 2 but I remain hopeful!)

I like Grimm and Chicago Fire, kind of like Revolution. Don’t watch any of the others.
