And the rest of my laundry is in!! It was a perfect day for drying outside. Huzzah for clean clothes!!
Update: The CD has been listened to. It was quite good.
I’m now trying to whittle down my “Watch Later” YouTube videos list by watching some videos.
The excitement never ends around here.
How about a hunky male stripper scarfin’ down a pie?
Dreary, dreary, dreary out. Rainin’ on and off but we’re told to expect a deluge. We shall see.
ETA: Feel better soonest Sari!
Poor, CUTE Baby!
My sweetie called while I was bringing in the laundry and I just saw the missed call. He’s so bored. And he’s got another week of sitting around there watching old movies and the golf channel…
Higgs has been fed and my crab legs are in the steamer - starting to smell yum! That’ll be my big excitement.
So not all the inhabitants of the aquarium survived. :dubious:
I found out that I have to irk tomorrow. I’ve looked at the schedule every day this week but I never noticed that until I saw Squirrel AGM’s version of the schedule on the computer that had the schedule changes marked in red. Glad I found out before The Ferret called me tomorrow morning spazzing out.
Oldest Sister gave me a bag of old t-shirts from her and her two boys (Nephew N and Nephew Z). I may make her a rug. Or one of the boys. I’m definitely going to make Der Pa a new potholder from the BRIGHT NEON YELLOW shirt. He has a couple Sainted Mom made but one is in extremely bad shape. I won’t throw it out because he’s sentimental about her things, especially things she made, but I will make sure it’s not in the kitchen where it can be used and melt more than it already has. (It’s acrylic. Why, Mom? You knew better than that.)
Speaking of Der Pa, he has his new leg and he’s getting around pretty well on it. He still has to use a walker, but yesterday a physio came over to his house to help him learn how to walk on his own. When he can do that Oldest Sister will give him her minivan which will make his next decade. He’s extremely independent. Extremely. I was watching him dart (well, as fast as he can dart) between the choir and the handbells during the Christmas Eve service and if it weren’t for the walker and the fact he used to walk a lot faster, you really wouldn’t know he’s handicapped now. He is definitely my Old Stubborn Southern Grandma’s son. And I am definitely his daughter. Independence runs in the family. Now all y’all get off our lawns.
Yes, Ma’am.
I was just admiring your grass, Ma’am.
It’s very pretty, Ma’am.
Dindin has been consumed. We done good. I let OYKW use the grill again.
Haha, thanks for calling me “cute.”
I had a friend who used to call me “baby,” a girl who was a few years older than me in university. She didn’t mean to imply that I was immature, and she didn’t call me “baby” in the sense that a guy might call his girlfriend “baby” - it was just her name for me, for some reason. She was a nice friend. We both played several lower members of the clarinet family.
Haha, “lower members.”
<snerk> Played lower members! <snerk>
Midget, that’s how you do juvenile.
Home from dinner.
I have enough left overs for two meals too. I don’t know why restaurants give so much food but I’m glad for doggie bags.
I was afraid to eat too much so I took a few bites of everything on my plate and brought the rest home.
Time to knit the night away.
MWAH!!
Blood red “MWAH” ???
Now we know that Fairy Chat is the Countess Bathory.
Planning on asking it out on a date?
Off at midnight, and back at work at 1100 today. Good thing sleep is for the weak.
rosie, a Fourth Doctor scarf? : bows in homage :
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 53 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 64 for the day. It rained all night and may some more this mornin’. 'Tis very wet out.
Today’s deheathenization service is called “Christmas Carols and Lessons.” Thus, there shall be many readin’s and singin’ of Christmas hymns. Liturgically this is the season of Christmas still. I’m not a big fan of this but I (we) shall attend anyway. This is a combined service so the Luteruns will be joinin’ in. Since it’s also a fifth Sunday, we shall have brekkie before the service. We shall stop by the Pubic sto’ and get some juice and Jimmy Dean’s sausage bizkits. Those little sausage bizkits heat up nicely in the nukelator, especially a high powered industrial one such as we have in the church kitchen.
So, yeah, that’s the big excitatement here in swampland.
Happy Sunday Y’all!
Miracle of miracles - even tho Higgs woke me again at 4-freekiin-30, she went out, peed, then settled down within a few minutes and went back to sleep. I had her curled up by my legs and Taz plastered to my side and we all slept till 7-awesome-20!!! I think the fact that it’s dreary and rainy and darkish outside helped. No matter - I’m rested and ready for the day. I just finished an egg-n-cheese sammich, and after I peruse my usual surfin’ sites, I *WILL *attack the tidying that I didn’t do yesterday.
The rain is supposed to continue all day, and it’s definitely very soggy out there right now. Then for the end of the week, we’re promised snow showers! Winter sucks. C’mon Spring!!!
**flytrap **- you goof, the red represents lipstick that leaves a big ol’ smeary lip mark after the MWAH! Did you never get big ol’ smooches from elderly aunts? Is that why you’re such a grouch!
Time to see what Dilbert is up to. Happy Last Sunday of 2013!!!
[hipster voice]I made it in 1983. You probably don’t remember that year.[/hv]
They always smelled funny.
