What??? No MMP???

Happy Sunday!

It’s wet and my posts are timing out.

**sari **- you need to keep your intrarwebz dry! You might get a shock or something!!!

Well, I’ve done my surfing and I guess it’s time to accomplish something. I’ll be back when I get totally bored or worn out. If you don’t hear from me by the end of the day, send a rescue squad to dig me from under a tower of crap in the green bedroom… :frowning:

The fun has begun. The room is mostly emptied and my back is already aching. Time to give my spider plants a haircut, finish vacuuming, then start organizing my mega-yarn stash.

Try not to envy me too much…

The SDMB has a wiki? Wow, just learned something new.

Good gad, we are becoming organized!
This will never do! To the ramparts!

Laaazy day.

Didn’t get up til late, and have done basically nuttin all day. Well, did a bit of tidyin’, attempted to give myself diabeetus through Christmas chocolate consumption, and caught up with all the silliness on the interwebs I’ve missed out on, but that’s about it.

I remember 1983. It’s the year that I turned 21 that’s a little hazy.

Off to work. Rain, rain rain.

Get off my lawn, punk!

I don’t remember 1983, that’s the year I turned 0.

Ok, ok, I’ll get off your lawns.

It appears to have not been updated in a while, though.

There is hope.

I turned 29 in 1983 - not a joke - I was born in '54 - do the math! It’s also the year I got married. But that’s not important now.

The spider plants have been pruned back and watered. The residue has been vacuumed up. I’ve assembled a wire shelf unit and put it in place, and I’m about to start sorting thru boxes of books and miscellany.

I also remembered that I was supposed to email some files to the couple that now own our last sailboat - apparently the guy who bought it from us neglected to pass on the various binders we sent with the boat. I found most of what we wanted to send them, but I still can’t find the schematics of the plumbing and electrical work my sweetie did. Perhaps it will emerge from the boxes I’m about to attack.

So quit distracting me and let me get back to work!!!

As Bugs Bunny would say, I was only twee-anna-haff yeahs owd in 1983. After June, that is.

I’m at irk and I’m sick. There is no chance that I can go home early because Squirrel AGM is here today. Detailed AGM would let me go home. :frowning: I think I shall wantonly shed germs in retaliation.

I just zombied a thread because someone linked it in another thread I was reading. :smack:

Lunch break - ham and provolone on 12-grain bread. Yum.

I’ve got 3 boxes of FCD’s stuff set aside. He’ll need to haul them downstairs - I don’t want to risk falling. So I’ll set them back in the room till he comes home. I have another box of books to donate - mostly old Calvin and Hobbes and Dilbert books. And a bunch of others are shelved for easy access. I figure in another hour, I’ll be done with the boxes and I can concentrate on the yarn and crafty stuff. That may take another hour or so, then I can veg. Or knit. Whatever.

Still pouring - I should probably pull the car outside to get rinsed. As soon as I’m done eating…

Better do it soon. Your rain will end within 2 hours or so.

The car is out there getting all rinsed off. My sammich has been ingested. Guess I need to get back to sorting. <sigh>

Howdy Y’all! Home from deheathenization. Glad I went cause I really did enjoy the service. A lot of foodstuffs at the brekkie this mornin’. So much that neither one of us want any N.O.L. Imagine that!

Thus is the excitatement down heah in swampland.

**FCD **will have 5 boxes to check/store when he gets home - I just dragged them back to the green room. I’ve got 2 boxes of garbage (not full yet) one box of donation books (almost overflowing) and a box of empty binders and folders that will probably go down to the basement to rot. Less than a box load of stuff left to sort. I’m thinking the yarn will be done another day. I’s tahred! Plus I still need to load the dishwasher and package the ground beef I bought yesterday.

All without benefit of chocolate - can you imagine???

Rough night at work last night. Got some good sleep, though, and today is a new day. Going to Eataly later for dinner with a friend I haven’t seen for a while. We’re gonna catch up, celebrate the holidays, drink wine while we shop, get tipsy, and then stuff ourselves amongst the various restaurants, spend more money than we should, and have more wine, maybe even some craft beer, and espresso, and dessert.

Want my PO Box number? :)
