TRADING PLACES 2: Following the government’s $250 billion bailout of Duke & Duke, leadership of the “too big to fail” firm is chosen by a reality show in which Billy Ray Valentine, Louis K. Winthorpe IV is chosen to be CEO. Unfortunately his son, Louis K. Winthorpe V, who sided with his mother (Jamie Lee Curtis) in the nasty split up, has him framed and disposessed, so old pal Billy Ray Valentine (now dictator of a small country in South America) must come rescue Louis and the economy. But ultimately he decides not too because after a successful cornering of the commodities market he and Louis realized they had next to nothing in common to build a friendship on and thus it’s a very short movie (about 8 minutes).
