Another vote here for COKE.
Mainly because only it and bourbon were “invented” here, I believe. Since the Bush monarchy is in power now, we seem to only be able to use/view/market “G” rated products, so that would leave Bourbon out.

Can’t we just say it’s bourbon & Coke, and leave it at that?
Coke, for sure.
I’m inclined to agree. Fizzy, sugary, airy with very little kick to it. Ubiquitous globally, alternately loved and resented by millions. Yup, I think so.
Mountain Dew!!!
Coke? Jeesh people… Have you ever tried Perrier? What about with a tiny slice of lemon a little sugar and some ice? What about with a little vodka on top of all that? You still opt for Coke? Very well then there is really nothing more I can do here.
PS I don’t think the French would really mind if the merkins “borrowed” their drink. It comes out of the ground over there, plenty to go around.
Dr. Pepper!
Wow. No votes for Perrier? I think it is probably Coca-Cola, but what about Tang? It’s the drink of NASA. Just imagine if a hot woman asked you if you wanted a coke or some tang. Which would you pick?
Distilled water … or rainwater … and PURE GRAIN ALCOHOL … .
The rest of you are a pack of dirty COMMIES.
Seconded. Except I phrase it “Eff Coke. Pepsi!”
Another vote for coke, though I will say that coke by itself while American is not nearly as American as Coke with ice is.
In no other country have I had so much ice rammed down my throat. And when I ask for a drink without ice, I get looked at like I’ve grown another head. I hate that.
Coke for sure!
Sorry, no.
I’m going to nominate sweet iced tea, as served by a perky young Southern gal with a slow drawl and a fast wink.
What goes with Mom’s fresh apple pie?
What goes with processed slices individually wrapped Kraft cheese?
What goes with fluffy lighter-than-air Wonder bread?
What goes with a steaming ballpark hotdog?
Bourbon, of course!
Gotta second that.
When the temp tops 100 Degrees F., & the humidity is 90%+, sweet iced tea isn’t a luxury. In the South, it’s survival!
And I was born a Yankee!
Yoo-Hoo.
What about KoolAid??
Does anybody besides Americans drink Dr. Pepper? I’ve never found a can anywhere but in the states.
What no Starbucks on the list?
I guess it would have to be plain coffee then.
Forever identified with Guyana.
