If you’re not going to actually consider that a valid poll option, then I think the entire poll is invalid and you should start over. Say someone is an alcoholic, but decides to get help and stop drinking. That person is now sober, but he or she is still an alcoholic – in that the addiction is still there.

I wasn’t implying that he was making fun of alcoholics – just that it really didn’t seem to have quite the humorous tone he was going for. That’s all. I got the impression that Curtis thought there was some contradiction in the term, when there’s not.
