What Should My New Username Be

Definitely Keep Curtis LeMay.

Martial Mayhem!

<just saw those two words together in a sentence and thought it’d be a great name for SOMEthing.>

I assumed he meant Jonathan Edwards, author of the sermon “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.”

Vote #1: Millard Fillmore

Vote #2: Keep Curtis LeMay

Vote #3: **Keep Curtis LeMay Away From Me! **

I believe that the OP has a mandate from the masses:

Keep Curtis LeMay!
Keep Curtis LeMay!!
Keep Curtis LeMay!!!

With each purhase of Keep Curtis Lemay, get one free napalm canister.

Given the poster, how about Mallard Fillmore?

Seems unfair. I’ve seen occassional hints that Curtis LeMay grasps the concept of humor.

Is there a deadline for this poll? Or a chance at a revote with the final 3-4 options (as I def. think Keep Curtis Lemay should have been an option/is probably in the majority).

Or will this thread just lead a quiet death?

Well, if he’s going to call himself that, why not go all the way and change it to Major Ferret Face?

(Not meant to insult you, Curtis, just funnin’. “Ferret Face” was Hawkeye and Trapper’s nickname for Frank Burns on MAS*H.)

(Actually, Frank Burns was a war-mongering lunatic, too, so…uh…never mind.)

Curtis **hasn’t been around since post #12, so I think it is dying a quiet death now.

You and me both.

Regards,

The former Rocket88

P. S. I voted Richard Nixon before reading this thread, but I’ll jump on the bandwagon and say that Keep Curtis LeMay is the best of the lot by far.

Ha!

I thought he meant this guy.

Anyway, another vote for the landslide that is “Keep Curtis LeMay”.

How is this not blatant threadshitting & an unwarranted religious insult?

I hope he wasn’t swallowed up by The Horror Beyond the Mountains!

Interesting. I may do the next time I want to change my username.

Yeah.

I’ll make a finale poll including both Curtis LeMay and Keep Curtis LeMay.

It’s supposed to be humourous.

I’ll close it a week after this poll began and than do a finale poll of “Curtis LeMay”, “Keep Curtis LeMay”, and the second top option.

How so? You DO know there are such people, Curtis? (Although the term is usually “recovering alcholic”.)

Say someone is an alcoholic, but decides to get help and stop drinking. That person is now sober, but he or she is still an alcoholic – in that the addiction is still there.

I never meant to make fun of alcoholics, it just sounded like a catchy username.

Lighten up, Francis.

As for the OP, i was wondering whether Attention Seeker should have been included in the poll?

I wasn’t implying that he was making fun of alcoholics – just that it really didn’t seem to have quite the humorous tone he was going for. That’s all. I got the impression that Curtis thought there was some contradiction in the term, when there’s not.

shrugs No big deal.
