I want to make a YouTube tribute to my little lhasadoodle who died last week from a liver shunt. I have very little video of him, but I have about 25 really good still shots I could use. I’d like to do something like this. What would be the best way to go about doing this?
Do you have a budget?
If not, use Windows Movies Maker, or iMovie, depending on your OS.
What platform are you using? On a Mac, you can create a slide show in iPhoto, adding the “Ken Burns” effect, if you choose, then export the slide show as a QuickTime file.
I think this will do the trick nicely, thanks. Didn’t even have to go look for it—it’s bundled with Vista. It was already on my hard drive. Thanks—I didn’t even know it existed.
Thanks again. All I had to do was import the desired graphics and background music, and the software did the rest for me automatically. It literally took all of about ten minutes to figure out the software and produce simple output. I’ll improve on it later, of course, but thanks for your help.
No problem. I’m just happy you didn’t choose Lionel Richie music.
Perish the thought.
After playing with the software for a few more hours this afternoon, I pretty much had it nailed. Here’s the final version. The above link doesn’t work anymore. I guess we can whisk this one off to MPSIMS now.
