That aside, the new POTC has jettisoned the massive dead weight that is Orlando Bloom, and the filmmakers have sworn that it’s going to be a complete self-contained story (meaning no padded, convoluted sequels). So I’m on board.
The usual threats.
Having never seen an unclad Cruz, I cannot speak to that. But I’m a face man, and hers is less than pleasing to me. Also, Knightley has great wheels, though she is still but a lesser version of Natalie Portman.
When I say things like that, people get all huffy.
I like Pirates 2 & 3. I don’t understand why people seem to dislike them so much. They even get better after rewatching.
I don’t dislike them, far less hate them, the way I can’t stand the two MATRIX sequels. I was simply bored with the second. Possibly I would have grown to hate it if I’d stayed longer, but I was by myself so I left.
