Why not just go straight to Jim Balent’s website for the porn stuff?
AFAIK, Jim Balent drew a four issue miniseries in the early 90’s, then the original Catwoman run that started in 1993ish, starting from issue 1 up to the relaunch a couple of years ago. I’m sure you can verify that one a Catwoman fan site somewhere.
Been there, done that. In fact, I knew Balent only as the guy who does the Witch of Tarot stuff. Didn’t know he’d done Catwoman.
Ugh, ugh, ugh. I couldn’t agree more: lovely stylish art out, more-of-the-same ‘gritty superhero’ art in. The writing’s still great, but I don’t know how much longer I can stand the art when my heart still aches for the old stuff.
Thanks, Selkie, I’ll try to check that out. I guess I fell off the bandwagon longer ago than I thought… I didn’t know they relaunched it. Might be worth a second look. 
I read an interview with Ed Brubaker (the current writer) and in the interview he was questioned about the costume redesign. The first thing he and the interviewer both said was “smaller boobs” :).
