I mean seriously. Last season it was cool… it was dark, you didn’t know what was happening.
This season… Mutant animal people? Escaped cute little bio-enhanced kids getting cutsey “justice league” names… Using the "they can’t touch because she has a super contagious Virus card (which effects no one but the love interest) it makes me sick… I hope to hell it’s all some bad dream sequence or something.
And I liked her hair better the way it was last year too.
yeah it was really nice of them to restyle her hair and makeup while she was trapped in a military training camp.
I don’t watch it, but as I understood it, it was one of FOX’s favorites. So why did they move it to Friday? Friday, where good shows go to die.
Jessica Alba gets less cute with every year…I need to see if I can find some Flipper reruns in the TV Guide.
Mutant animal people–because a girl in black, a man in a wheelchair, and guys with guns makes for a limited selection of action figures to sell.
Cutesy names–Hey, they’re leaving anyway. Then again, she didn’t like Ralph because it’s a boy’s name? Good call, “Max.”
Virus–because they figured out the only thing that made the romances in Lois & Clark, Dark Angel, and Northern Exposure work was the fact that they were unrequited, so they slapped together a half-baked reason for them not to be jumping into bed at the end of every episode.
Hey, the first few episodes last season gave no indication of how good this show was going to turn out, so I ain’t worried. (And I like the animal-people.)
