What the hell is Hell.com?

Okay, on the wierdest sites thread, somebody posted Hell.com( must’ve been Satan…duh). Anyway, I keep going back there and it’s seriously trippin’ me out man! What’s the deal? Is it just a joke? A temptation maybe? Everytime I go back it says sold out! Help me!

(Note to self: Say ten Hail Marys, five Our Fathers…)

“I would far rather be ignorant than wise in the foreboding of evil.”

-Æschylus. 525-456 B. C.

I went there too, and decided that I would subscribe in the hopes that I would someday be deemed worthy to find out what it’s all about. So, I gave them my e-mail address, they sent me a message telling me to e-mail them back to verify, I did as instructed, and was informed the following day that the mailhost couldn’t deliver my verification. So I may never know.

I went there about a year ago and it logged me off. Also my computer would not work right for a couple of days. Satanic power eminates from that site.

Za’an kho’ku na tenshi no teeze. Kyoko Baby!

I just applied.
I was confirmed.
I am accepted.
I went to the lounge.
I am doomed.

What Slythe said…

The “deal” is that it’s a site which uses java, HTML encoding and other web-based languages as art. There are others, but I really love the cryptic tone of hell.com . That and the name…

Yer pal,
Satan

I, as well, went, applied, was accepted, and was damned. It’s really a terribly clever site. With all the options possible, it’s sad that the web is as dull as it is, as far as design and format of pages are concerned, so when I run into a site like this which takes advantage of some of the potential oddness available I’m happy. I’m glad when real programmers use their skills for good, and are able to take a few minutes out of designing sites for insurance companies and play around.

Hell.com is quite a cool site. They take designers they think are good and work together to create interesting and cool websites. They call you, you can’t call them. You can’t submit their stuff and hope they like it. They have to see your stuff and like it, if they do they will contact you.
Very cool idea. I went there first about a year ago. Neat stuff.

pat

It’s a so-called exclusive site (limits members) because it wants to maintain a sense of secrecy and pretentiousness.

It’s a site dedicated to artists and their work. Some of the art displayed and exhibited on the site is either in galleries or coming to a gallery soon.

The currently advertised show is called “Skin on Skin” and are photographs of two people making sex/having love.

Pretty neat if you’re interested in art, but if it’s not your bag, you ain’t missing much.
