:smack: You’re right.
“Stay thirsty, my friends.” Uhhh… don’t you want me drinking your beer?

Does that mean he’s a pedophile who fucks sheep in his spare time? Or that he only fucks lambs?
No, Mohammad isn’t a pedophile. It’s the sheep he fucks that are the pedophiles.
BTW, right here our dear friend Stan claims to be fifty-years old.
Scary, isn’t it?
I wouldn’t be too convinced these groups don’t have a large overlap. I seen some scary nerds in my lifetime.
Always.
When discussing Stan Shmenge the preferred spelling is MORE AWESOME THAN THOU[sup]TM[/sup].

Stay thirsty, my friend
I recently read the book “Dangerously Funny”. I commend it to anyone. Fascinating look at censorship in the USA.
Well, I used to drink the dark version, but can’t find it anymore. The lager sucks.
Is it genocide when it is targeted against a religion that crosses racial lines? Maybe religioucide? Yeah, I was over the top, and there are decent Muslims, I just wonder what it is about that particular religion that makes people so damn fanatical. “Behead those who offend the prophet!”
If you can’t get it via the naughty-naughty channels then I am afraid you just aren’t very good at the internet.
I could have it for you in around 2 minutes. I had no issue downloading it the day after it was shown and a quick look shows that it is still out there.
Well, International Everyone Draw Mohammed Day has come & gone. And the world still exists, AFAIK. Wonder if it will become an annual event?
Considering that Lars Vilks has been targeted for assassination and has to live under police protection just because he drew a little cartoon sketch poking fun at Muhammad, I do think the issue of freedom of artistic expression is a serious matter.
Even though legally allowed to be cowards, it really is disappointing that Comedy Central backed down so easily. ESPECIALLY since the show has made fun of just about every other group of people. Fundamentalist Christians could take from this that all they have to do to get Comedy Central to stop airing jokes about Jesus is to make a credible threat of violence.
I don’t want to see Arabs eradicated from the world. I have been around long enough to know that you have reasonable people and crazy people in any large group. I used to live near Dearborn, MI (one of the biggest Arab American communities in the US) so I know enough Arabs who are cool people. However, I encourage honest discussion of Muslim culture and its effects on human rights.
The right to be able to say anything we want about anyone else - even, no, ESPECIALLY if it’s not kind or enlightened or appropriate - is a valuable right. Unfortunately, far too many people think that the only speech that should be allowed is speech that they don’t find offensive.
Are you familiar with George Carlin? “Offensive” and “inappropriate” language can be used to make important points. While I can’t speak for the motives of this poster, I would not automatically write off anyone who talks this way. That could very well be missing the point, as it would be for anyone who assumed that George Carlin was just being a rude potty mouth with his 7 Words shtick.
My natural inclination is to be “nice” and not offend people, but when there are groups of people trying to dictate what I can and can’t say, you better believe that I am going to do everything I can to offend those fuckers.
