What to name a set of twin girl puppies? And yes, of course there are pictures!

I think that the size of a dog is inversely proportional to the size of the dog. On the other end of the scale, you’ve got those 5 lb terriers who outclass full-grown horses. Then there’s some narrow middle ground of medium-sized dogs who actually are the size they are.

Where are the pictures of your puppies?

Oh you meant dogs. Damn.

Thelma & Louise

I sort of love the name Delilah. Is there anything that goes with that? :stuck_out_tongue:

I also like history funny names, if there are any of those such options. I mean, assuming Honey and Badger are out. April and May are cute and at the top of the list, though I’ve always had a sort of irrational disliking of the name April. What? I admit it’s irrational!

If the other dog was a boy you could go with Sampson.

Mary and Elizabeth?

Mary and Sarah?

Diosa - Name them May and June, then.

StG

Polly and Esther

Daisy and Dolly
Suzy and Sally
Beezus and Ramona

If you hate April, I vote for May and June.
Glad you’re keeping them. To me they look like Shepherd mixes.

They are too cute for words! I like Laverne & Shirley or Thelma & Louise, myself. If I had to guess I wouls say I think they are Schnauzer mixes.

Congrats!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEE I am too killed by the cute to think of names!

Lucy and Ethel.

Ruff and Reddy
Sammie and Delilah

Adorable! How about Delilah and Daisy?

Ohhh, so cute! I like Sammie and Delilah…

Eva and Zsa Zsa

WTF and OMG

This has my vote as well! If not that, then April and May.

I didn’t say it before, but bless you for taking in those puppies. They are so cute! It’s hard to wrap my mind around why someone would mistreat such adorableness.

They do look like they have some shepherd in them, but the wiry coat puts me in mind of some kind of terrier breed. Did the vet have a guess as to how big they might grow?

I’m liking Honey and Badger, if there’s any chance of changing your dad’s mind. Funny, and cute, and seems to fit them, really.

Also the month names. April-May or May-June seem to work.

I’m not a fan of rhyming names or names that sound too much alike - sometimes I think the dogs can’t really tell which name belongs to who if they sound too much the same. I also like two-syllable names for dogs, which is probably why I like the first names better. (plus, the joke)

I think it being you, and they being such obvious mutts Coco and Chanel are the best suggestions, but I could go with Fendi, Gucci, Versace (which I know I’m misspelling) or Prada as well. I like the disconnect.
