Good point.
Last week, a turtle dug a hole for a nest in my backyard. The day after, it was mostly filled in. I suspect there are eggs in it. I live on a lake, and there are multiple turtles that live there and like to sun themselves nearby.
Yesterday, a duck laid an egg in my side yard. Not in a nest or anything, just in the grass kinda near my mango tree. This morning, the egg was gone. I suspect either an iguana (mixed messages online about whether they eat duck eggs) or a possum.
This morning, a duck laid an egg in my side yard. Presumably the same duck. This time, under the mango tree. Guess we’ll see how this goes.
Then there’s the ackee tree. And a few random herbs. A few strawberries. And a little lettuce that hasn’t quite wilted in the summer heat, somehow.
If the question involves the shows you like most then the genre and decade aren’t major barriers to your liking them, as I see it.
Judging them against some genre standard or decade norm (whatever that might be) could involve aspects of your taste other than plain liking the show as entertainment or information.
But I have no problem with the level of depth you suggest – as long as somebody else does the grunt work to set it/them up to begin with.
I’d like to see a poll about which child stars have aged or developed professionally the best (and the worst would be interesting too). Doogie Howser? Opie? Blossom? Punky Brewster?
