I know its a silly question but I love classic rock. I think Tedly’s best was “Stranglehold” and Aerosmith’s best is “Sweet Emotion”.
You can put your favorites down but that is not going to change the fact that mine are indeed the best.

It’s hard to disagree with Stranglehold. In fact, I won’t butt Little Miss Dangerous is music to my ears too.
Sweet Emotion? Again, how can we refute butt do you ever turn down the lights and crank up Seasons of Wither?
A question for the ages.
Nugent: “Cat Scratch Fever”
Aerosmith: “Toys in the Attic”
Nugent - Wang Dang Sweet Poontang
Nuge " This one goes out to all the Nashville pussy"
Aerosmith - Last Child
The video for Sweet Emotion-the guy thinks he’s having phone sex with some gorgeous model, and it turns out to be some overweight woman with curlers in her hair, wearing a mu mu and face cream.
Ted’s best were “Stranglehold,” “Just What the Doctor Ordered” and “Free for All.”
Aerosmith had a LOT of great songs in the 70s and early 80s… I have little use for the stuff they’ve done over the last 10 years.
My faves:
Obviously, 'm one of the VERY few who loved “Rock in a Hard Place,” the Aerosmith album without Joe Perry.
For Ted, I would have to say that Stranglehold is the best, although I always get a particular thrill out of Kiss My Ass
Aerosmith has so many great songs but I haven’t put a lot of thought into what my favorite would be…so I’ll agree with the Sweet Emotion and add Walk This Way.
Ohh, and forgot Cat Scratch Fever, which I remember from seeing Ted live and his interesting dedication “…this one is so sexy even the faggots’ll be eatin pussy tonight”
Ted - not one.
Aerosmith -(though it’s not their composition) 10" record. I like the way it rocks along…
Ted’s song has got to be Free for All. You just can’t beat that “HUH!”. As in "the stakes are high, and so am I, it’s in the air toni-i-ight… du du du du dudu dudu du du du HUH!
As for Aerosmith I guess I’d say Sweet Emotion, but I’m not much for Aerosmith. Now don’t get me going on Frampton, though… I’ve probably spent a year of my life listening to Frampton Comes Alive.
Tough choice.
For Ted: Free For All or Stranglehold
Aerosmith: Back in the Saddle or Sweet Emotion.
About a year ago I was driving my 11 year old son home from fencing class. Classic rock station happened to be on the radio. For WEEKS he was strutting around repeating “Cat Scratch Fever, na na na na…”
Says something about a song for a single exposure to have so much staying power. (Also says something about the maturity of the target audience!)
Slight hijack, these have got to be two of the best bands ever for air guitar, huh?
the Nuge: not a fan of his, sorry.
Aerosmith: No Surprize by a country mile! “Blazing” is the only way to put it.
I used to like Aerosmith…but I was friends with this guy from work, who eventually turned stalker-he was a huge Aerosmith fan, and I cannot listen to them anymore without thinking of him…shudders
i think there is a good argument for aerosmith being the best and most influential american rock band of all time.
(velvet underground fans, dont even.)
combination and sick as a dog are my favorites. and they come back to back on a’s best album, rocks. get yer wings is a very close second. theres not a bad cut on either one of those albums.
as to the nuge, stranglehold is a most egregious sabbath ripoff. hes even trying to sound like ozzy. how lame.
my vote is for journey to the center of the mind.
Ted: Kiss My Ass
Aero: Janie’s Got A Gun
Nuge AKA Captain Mellow: Stranglehold or Just What the Doctor Ordered definitely, and definitely off Double Live Gonzo
The Nuge: Cat Scratch Fever
Aerosmith: Dream On, Sweet Emotion, Janie’s Got a Gun
The NUGE=== Kiss my ass or Fred Bear (GO FRED BEAR!!!)
Aerosmith=== ummm… dunno? prolly Sweet Emotion
