There was some disagreement between her and the magazine. What was the deal? I didn’t follow it, nor did I get a chance to read her exclusive in-depth interview in “People” where she set the record straight.
No pun intended?
In a nutshell, she’s claiming there were “creative differences” between her and the people at the magazine and that they were so severe that they led to her being frozen out of management decisions. She claims that at one point she was held in an office against her will while an editorial meeting was held in another office. She quit the magazine and her business partners sued her for the anticipated loss of revenue that her leaving would cost them.
And here’s some information on the countersuit.
