I snuck in to a drive-in double feature of Kentucky Fried Movie
and Groove Tube when I was 12 – the summer of 1978.
This must have beat out Animal House by a little bit.
The drive-in is now condos, and I am now old. I’m sure I’ve aged
better than those movies, though.
I remember seeing Mandy Patinkin’s bare ass in Yentl when I was about seven years old. It probably made a big impression because I was watching with my parents, and was kind of embarrassed and tried to be very mature and just not react at all. I can’t remember the first female nudity I saw. It may have been in Romeo and Juliet.
In the theater: Under The Rainbow, a justifiably forgotten 1981 screwball comedy set in Hollywood in 1939, remarkable mostly for Carrie Fisher (pre-RotJ) in her underwear. An undersized German spy (Billy Barty) is trying to rendezvous with his Japanese contact (who is disguised as a camera-toting tourist). Unfortunately, the hotel where they are to meet is not only playing host to a busload of camera-toting Japanese tourists, but is also invaded by an unruly mob of Munchkin extras from the nearby Wizard of Oz set. The grand finale chase scene takes a detour through a ladies’ shower room, offering as much skin as a PG rating would permit.
On TV: probably one of the old-fashioned burlesque shows that HBO would air from time to time back when it was the only cable channel around. Heavier on the tease than the strip, it was nonetheless quite an education. In fact, I planned my “too sick to go to school” days around the HBO schedule.
I don’t remember the title of my first nude movie, maybe one of you guys could identify it. It’s about a guy who spends the entire move trying to get laid. He gets close but doesn’t achieve orgasm until the end. Here are the scenes I remember.
He’s at high school in the stands of the gymnasium where some sort of meeting or game or pep rally is taking place. He sees one of the cheerleaders bouncing up and down in her seat, then realizes she’s on his buddy’s lap, the movie switches to a slow motion clip of the bouncing cheerleader,
At one point he is outside of his house, looks in the bathroom window, and sees his sister squeezing her nipples while she sings opera style. A “boring” is heard, signifying his erection. The sister notices him, screams for their parents, who come rushing into the bathroom. The father starts to leer at the daughter.
Later main character and his buddy are running around, end up crossing the Mexico border. A Mexican hooker flashes them. The buddy starts squeezing her tits. The hooker says she’s not going to pop her cherry until she’s 18, and then it’s going to cost a grand.
In another scene, our protagonist is in a hotel room where a porno is being filmed; a girl he knows is the female star. The male star (Big Al?) has trouble performing. The girl tries to encourage him, but to no avail.
The main character ends up at a girl’s house, and the girl’s mother is prancing around the house with her robe open. The girlfriend is upset (“Damn you, Mother!”) but the hero makes his move on the girl and finally achieves orgasm. I think the movie depicts several nudes (flashbacks?) at the point of orgasm
The movie may not have been produced in the US and may be dubbed to some degree.
The released movie was an X. The tape, or DVD, is an edited R, and I believe the X rated version no longer exists. The original was quite good (I saw it in college when I could appreciate it) but I agree the R rated version sucks.
I think my first was MASH, but I had seen so many Playboy pictorials on sex in the movies that the real thing kind of wasn’t as interesting as being able to study the stills.
And another vote for Deathstalker II. A great and underrated movie, with lots of jokes you need to look fast for.
I’m pretty sure it was either Airplane! or Used Cars. IMDB says they both came out in 1980. In that case, it was likely Airplane! because I saw that in the theater with my parents, but Used Cars we rented on Beta (I think for my birthday party, if I’m remembering right!).
“Women in Love”, based on the book by DH Lawrence, and starring a memorable Alan Bates and Oliver Reed wrestling, both in the nude. Both glistening with sweat. Both looking–good heavens!–VERY masculine. I was, oh, about 12 at the time it came out (1969-1970), and it was showing at the local “arthouse” cinema. Sneaked in w/ a couple gradeschool girlfriends. Can’t say I understood a thing about the movie, but sure recall all the naked scenes, & there were a couple of the women (Glenda Jackson, plain woman with nice breasts, & Jennie Linden, pretty woman with nice breasts) as well as the famous wrestling scene.
Didn’t realize there was so much “floppage” of male appendages until I saw that scene at that tender age, I guess. I dunno what I though prior to seeing that, but more than likely didn’t think of guy’s equipment at all. I was certainly wowed.
