What Was This "Song" Called?

I remember a strange “song” that played on AM radio frequently, back in the late 1970’s.
I was pretty stupid-it was a jungle-type instrumental music, interspersed with a woman gasping and moaning, (apparently) in the throes of orgasm. It went like this:
(Music)
(Woman’s voice); "Ayy…Ayya…AHH!
(Music)
That was it-just this repeated.
I never got the title of it, but it seemed to play frequently.

Jungle Fever” by The Chakachas ?

I’d be stunned if “Jungle Fever” isn’t the answer. By the way, I know I’ve heard this tune featured prominently in some movie, but I can’t quite place it. Anyone remember? Boogie Nights, maybe?

It was in Boogie Nights. Also, two episodes of Entourage. And not surprisingly, in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever.

I was going to say “Love to Love You” by Donna Summer, but “Jungle Fever” seems much more likely.

Thanks! It is hard to belive how something this stupid could be made in the first place!
I take it the “Chakakas” never won a Grammy?

Freakin’ love that song. Love it.

Somehow, I’ve managed never to have heard this until today. I went to Walloon’s link and thought, “this is one of the biggest wastes of vinyl ever.” But then I clicked on this one, which has better sound, and I have to admit it’s not so bad.

Still, I think two hearings in a lifetime is enough.
