What was Trump actually implying he did when he said he "grabb[ed] em by the pussy"

This is neither a defense nor a justification for bragging about sexual assault.

No, but it is a distraction to bet us talking about something else.

To be fair, who among us hasn’t gleefully bragged in private conversations about committing sexual assault?

I know I…well, actually I haven’t, but clearly that must be due to “political correctness”. But perhaps LAZombie has had different sorts of conversations when alone with friends than I have.

I mean… the choice wasn’t that difficult, to be honest.

As a rule, whenever Trump says something that common sense suggests is a lie, his defenders are quick to explain how he’s actually being truthful. But the one time he says something that, if true, reveals him to be a rapist, his defenders are quick to explain how he’s NOT being truthful.

Make it make sense, y’all. Make it make sense.

Have a drink of this Kool-Aid and everything will become crystal clear.

JFK, and Bill Clinton could explain it better… although, Bill allegedly used a cigar.

Compared to Joe Bidens ‘hands on’ approach to young girls… The real question is, why was none of this news until days before the Election? That was originally caught on tape in 2005. Probably was, referring to ‘Hound Dog’ Bill Clinton. He certainly grabbed his share as Governor although, as far as we know, Bill did not have sex with cousins or other family members.

When we have an admitted sexual assaulter in the White House who has been credibly accused of rape and sexual assault by over 20 women, what we really should worry about is the timing of the release of his own words bragging about sexual assault.

Not, you know, that maybe we shouldn’t have a rapist and sexual assaulter in the White House.

Nice language.

Please tell us where you go to get your morals. Local bar I presume?

Hillary not only knew the predator (Weinstein) she took money from him and called him all kinds of great things. She only stopped when the news came out. Otherwise you bet she darn well knew and would have continued to support him. And lets not mention some of the things Bill has done.

You sound like a good, loyal democrat.

How does this excuse or justify, in any way at all, continuing to support (long after the election against Hillary!) someone who bragged on multiple occasions about violating the consent of women, and who was credibly accused of rape and sexual assault by over 20 women?

I’m not thinking that this is a very good thread for persons defending Trump to be casting aspersions on other people’s morals.

I’m sure you thought that was a sick burn.

Totally agree.

This is still not an excuse or justification in any way for continuing to support someone who bragged about sexual assault and has been credibly accused of rape and sexual assault by over 20 women. Continuing to make these sorts of bullshit excuses makes me suspect you don’t actually care about fighting sexual assault and rape, or at least don’t care about it nearly as much as you care about fighting liberals and Democrats.

I mean he doesn’t care about literally sexually harassing women and bragging about it, so what do you expect?

To your point in bold, isn’t it striking that Trump said nothing about *them *pursuing him? In fact, he didn’t allude at all to their desires. Whether or not all these women he was kissing and grabbing actually wanted him just didn’t seem important enough for the ole Trumpster to emphasize, which, when you think about it, is rather consistent with a rape mentality.

It’s not that he assumes he always has consent; it’s that he considers female consent irrelevant in his narrative on how great and powerful he is. Commoners (i.e. D-listers like Billy Bush and below) have to concern themselves with consent because women don’t let lowly peasants get away with groping them, you know? But when you’re a celebrity (like Trump), they let you get away with anything.

Trump could’ve just as easily been bragging about how the cops don’t ticket him for double parking or breaking the speed limit. He probably sees sexual assault as the same kind of wrongness as these actions, and therefore, he didn’t see the big deal about bragging about it. In his mind, all men either do it or want to do it.

Oh no, some immoral person used naughty language on the internet!

That’s so much worse than sexual assault!

I doubt she knew he was a sexual abuser of women before the news came out.
