Agreed. The threads about Trump’s legal woes are great when they are full of news updates and informed legal analysis. When they are trite observations–or, worse, fantasies about Trump suffering in jail or whatever–they’re dumb. I wish folks would start a thread called “My fantasies about Trump suffering” and make their jokes there.
Yeah, it’s tiring.
I reject insinuations that this is an echo chamber. But that’s not to say that we don’t get echos now and then.

Well this has certainly been an edifying few hours in the thread.
Someone once told me, using foul, name calling language just for funzies does not make you sound very smart.
I just figured it out, they were very right.
In fact, they could’ve took it further and said “it makes a person sound extremely stupid, uneducated, ill-mannered, uncultured and probably should stay home looking in the mirror, instead of in public displaying their ignorance”
That person was a stupid fuckwit.
That sounds like something a stinky poopoo head would say.
Meh. I’m bilingual. My native tongue tends to incorporate a liberal dose of profanity.
My second language involves none, and is trotted out when I don’t know the sensitivity of the person to whom I’m speaking, or when I do know them and they really don’t like profanity.
But I tend not to artificially limit which word I reach for when trying to optimally convey a thought 
He was my Marine Drill Instructor Daddy who cursed worse than anyone on this board has ever done, that I’ve seen. And he did it in 3 languages.
