Ah, the sophisticated humor of intellectuals.
‘Are you talking to me? I most assuredly hope you are not talking to me good sir…’

@Crane thinks that the Hamas killers who targeted women and children were “Gazan soldiers”, not terrorists.
Of course, just as the IDF is mass targeting Palestinian women and children in Gaza.
There’s no good guys here. It’s total war.
Good to know that you’re willing to admit that Jewish babies and children don’t count as “good guys” in your view.
This is telling us a lot about what kind of human being you are. I’ll definitely keep this in mind.
I think we are seeing the truth that not all criticism of Israel is motivated by antisemitism, only 99.9% of it is.
Don’t forget, this is the poster who dismissed rape, mutilation, and murder of women during the October invasion as “cheap propaganda”.
Say what? I don’t know what the fuck Crane is talking about in that thread or what his motivations are. But it’s equally ridiculous to say that 99.9% of criticism of Israel is driven by antisemitism. That’s just an attempt to deflect legitimate criticism.
I have found the 3D Test to be a useful starting point in separating valid criticism of Israel from antisemitism.
Crane has at times seemed to use the Ds as a checklist of points to hit.
Interesting claim. Examples?
That’s not bad, although I’m not sure about double standards. Those are pretty ubiquitous in any argument, on any side. This board would shut down if we disallowed those.
I don’t think every example of a double standard indicates antisemitism, but sometimes it is a pretty clear indicator. Here’s a hypothetical example.
What if we just disallowed them for half the posters?
You mischaracterize my argument. Israel isn’t necessarily oppressive because it is a Jewish state. Israel is oppressive because for it to exist it must necessarily oppress the Palestinian people, i.e. deny and refuse the Palestinians’ Right of Return and human rights because it would upset Israel’s demographic concern, a Jewish majority in Palestine. It could be a Mennonite state or a Church of the SubGenius state for that matter. If these hypothetical states were to oppress a people due to demographic concerns they would also be necessarily oppressive states.
I did answer your question here.
That was not an answer.
However, your explanation here was well-put. Why in the fuck did you not put that in the original thread and instead just kept dancing around it?! A whole shit ton of drama could have been avoided.
I had a feeling you had a good reason for your statement but I couldn’t drag it out of you.
Yes it was.
I repeated myself constantly; that you didn’t pick up on it is your problem.
Oh really? Then where the fuck in that thread did you say this?
If you can’t match that quote in the thread then you’re a fucking liar and probably a troll. And an antisemite to boot.
When the Hell am I going to learn not to offer an olive branch and a compliment to an insincere asshole?!
Pardon me, I didn’t specify demographic concerns in the other thread. That Israel’s existence is predicated on the necessary oppression of the Palestinian people is obvious if you know the history of the conflict.
Yeah, that’s all you have, snide remarks and ad hominems.
Well, we asked the question, what was InfraBlue thinking, and they thinking, only they are allowed to define the underpinnings of Israel.
Uh-huh.
Well, that’s unspeakably arrogant. I think it’s clear who’s debating in good faith, and well, InfraBlue isn’t coming out in a good light.
That has become clear.
