Darren amused the group with a visual interpretation of Saint Cad being up on the cross. This literally doesn’t exist without Darren’s imagination and effort, small though that effort may have been. It also doesn’t exist without AI images, as the juice wouldn’t be worth the squeeze otherwise.

No, there are not “trolls who surf this board and horribly insult posters because thats their fun”. They have no lives.
Maybe they see someone continually missing points, doubling down, never being wrong, crying persecution, trying to make them learn but when they refuse, maybe it makes them mad and they insult.

Yesterday morning, I did my usual ritual: cold shower, workout, ate four eggs washed down by black coffee with butter, checked Facebook. I slightly deviated from my ritual yesterday morning though, I scrolled through the Dope. On the top of the queue was that thread. I was perplexed. Over the years I’ve been on all kinds of message boards and social media sites, and I’ve never seen anything like that. Someone admitting to making 10+ reports per MONTH?
I would just like to know “why” and “what”? What kind of posts does he report? Besides the Trump related ones. Why does he report so many? What’s his motive? What does he get out of this?
I’m normally not the type to call out people. I’m a True Neutral (who leans slightly towards evil and chaotic), I usually like to stay out of people’s business and tend to my own matters. I’m not one of those people who have agendas in groups. But as a True Neutral I find such people who want staunch adherence to codes of conduct a bit threatening. And he is not a mod, just a fellow member.
He’s the type of person who remembers all of his city’s codes and ordinances by hard. He probably keeps two stacks of Sherwin-Williams paint color samples, from home depot. One labeled “acceptable”, and the other labeled “unacceptable”. If any house in his neighborhood has a questionable color, he would compare the “unacceptable” samples to the house. If there’s a match, he would instantly run to the HOA…or police.
This is the thread for gently correcting posters otherwise in good standing, not a feed-the-troll thread. You’re quite lost (although it seems you know how to find the troll thread just fine)
And this is shit I have to explain to high school kids as a mod.
For as much as I still have a heart for this place, being away does shine some light on the shit that sometimes is just accepted as normal. Hell, this shit with the meme was why we didn’t want images for a while.
Yeah, I feel a twinge of regret for posting an image instead of writing out a response in text. And I probably should’ve put my response to wolfpup in this thread instead of that thread.
