TBT that was a vague question as many of salves and ointments actually print scientifically proven to aid in healing right in their marketing materials but the OP apparently doesn’t believe them so they posted a vague question about healing substances without indicating what kind of wounds or severity of wounds. The FQ was very kindly responded to with factual info about basic best practices for wound care. One of which was provided by a MD. So what’s with your beef and this continual fanatical obsession of yours?
This from the walking dumbass who somehow gets multiple job offers but fails to land a job. Your caseworker(s) must be pulling out their hair dealing with you.
Keep digging. You’re doing a great job of pulling up peer-reviewed studies.
You know, you raved so much in your new response in that thread to your recent laser treatment, why didn’t you just look for an actual cite to post? What do you think the rest of us do to find cites?
I see you’re sitting that one out, what’s the matter with you? Still looking for scientific peer reviews on saliva? bentonite clay? Bandaids and Vaseline not good enough for a minor scrape. Gimme a fucking break.
Not by me. Never said I added it. It was another doc. No one read it. Just a waste of type face. But you go for it. If anything miraculous is revealed, let us know.
You keep digging. Your hole is deep tho’…maybe a little break first. Shot of vodka, bit of a gummy might help.( oh that’s not science, just my recommendation)
Actually at least three of the first four responses came from MDs - I believe Quadgop, Dr_Paprika, and DSeid are ALL physicians. (And for all I know, Melbourne is too.)
That’s actually my main beef with FQ these days. I’m not as affronted as @needscoffee is at the breezy answers, though I don’t entirely disagree. But almost the only time I report a post is when there is an IMHO-type question in FQ. For some reason that drives me nuts.
If FQ is to have meaning, we really need to leave it to good questions that are well written and invite of truly factual settled answers.
Problem is, we get a lot more IMHO-type FQs than we get FQ-type FQs. And now that wiki is as wide-ranging as it is, and our headcount of esoteric experts is ever shrinking, it’s harder and harder to find a sweet spot for questions wiki can’t answer but one of our experts can.
That, I think, is the crux of the FQ issue these days. When this board started, it was a great subforum, and I learned a lot in it. But, now, with so many other sources of information out there, as well as the calving off of some of what used to be in FQ/GQ into other subforums, there are times when FQ is now one of the board’s slowest areas (though it’s pretty busy at this moment).
