We do get the occasional member that uses their full name on the board. Either as a username or will post it in threads for one reason or another.
If you google that name and the word ‘time’, you’ll find other posts related to time. I’m seeing someone with that name posting about railroad timetables going back more than 20 years.
I’m guessing that’s the poster’s real name.
And also the poster’s real topic fixation.
I see tuckerfan has gotten some mod love for pointlessly bumping ancient threads.
Seriously, we didn’t keep the old Zombie rule, but you should only bump old threads, especially really old threads; with something new directly pertinent to the thread or a directly related question on topic.
Bumping 5 threads over 17 years old with nothing to add is just a pain in the ass for the Mod staff. If a new user did it, they would be treated as a troll and banned and posts cornfielded or deleted.
Possibly drunk or high posting? I absolutely don’t recall him ever causing problems on the board.
I missed that, but my guess, just on general principles, is drunk.
I’m just glad that when I am drinking I can barely find the threads that are on the front page, so to speak.
I very nearly reported one of those last night, and reconsidered, thinking, “established user, and bumping old threads isn’t against rules.” Mea culpa, I’ll flag it next time.

Over in the SovCit thread, wolfpup is trying to convince us cops are perfect little angels during all encounters with the public and that you don’t have the right to refuse to answer police question (unless arrested) and moreover you shouldn’t have that right in the United States.
He’s been shown he’s wrong, but that doesn’t stop him so at this point he’s just SovShitting the SovCit thread.
He’s not being nearly as big a fool in that thread as Lumpy, though. Lumpy actually seems to be at least SovCit-adjacent.

It looks like standard MSH posting to me (in other words, completely deranged).
I thought MSH was lucid most of the time, I think I’ve seen their name come up before in Pit complaints but I usually see them post something sane and not something you’d yell at strangers trying to enter a subway.
He took a deep dive into “MSM are all lying all the time” land. That’s not healthy for anyone, but for somebody with underlying tendencies it’s even worse.
I checked out some threads he’s started, and they tend to start out pretty normal but quickly veer into paranoid territory.
