Not necessarily. You can feel a personal distaste for something and still support its right to exist, if you’re a person of principle.
Can but rarely do. A unicorn conservative.
I was talking about liberals.
Nowadays? and fully?
I figured out by the time I was about 13 that nobody was going to agree with me about absolutely everything.
That would have been around 1964.
But there are also homophobic and transphobic LGBTQ folks, and a fairly large overlap between them and the conservative LGBTQ folks. Look at Caitlin Jennings, for instance, who seems to be mostly making her living these days as an anti-trans activist.
Dang girl are you disagreeable? Or sumthin’!
I’m kidding you.
I’ve found in my life, if everyone and their dog was against me, just maybe the problem was me. Maybe.
I have acquiesced many times when I really shouldn’t have. I’m ever the 12th juror. Yeah, I live with a persuasive bunch.
Sometimes, yeah.
But that wasn’t what I was talking about. I could usually find people who agreed with me on any single thing, and some who agreed with me on most things. What I couldn’t and can’t find was anyone who agreed with me about everything.
I think it would be pretty boring if most people did.
I can’t even agree completely with myself!
Yeah, sometimes that’s an issue too!
