Absolutely, and I have sympathy for that. Personal computers have become complex to understand and use, and printers can be exceptionally frustrating.
Even so, ignoring simple questions like “have you tried a different cable?”, and giving two- or three-word answers, is why she got the reaction here that she dud.
APC is shit. In almost 30 years as a professional I’ve had so many problems with them. I’ve used CyberPower at home and had great experiences with them.
I did get an APC a number of years ago because it seemed like a great deal but the piece of shit kept beeping for no reason (faulty, no surprise) and I got a CP instead that lasted years before replacing it with another one.

And this afternoon, I took the bull by the horns and wiped the computer. Once I got rid of the McAfee popups, it’s been smooth sailing ever since (so far).

I did the “factory settings reset” thing.
Interesting, as my experience is the exact opposite. Many years ago when an electrician somehow energized the 120 volt circuits with 3 phase power all of the equipment connected to APC surge suppressors and batteries survived, and everything else blew up.
As long as the lead acid batteries are good, both the cyberpower and APC batteries work fine for me.
In all likelihood the different experiences are a matter of chance on our parts as much as anything else.
Computers are so far out of my realm of understanding it’s kinda funny.
I’ve finally decided it’s just not for me and survive with smart phones and a tablet. I don’t know how they can possibly work unless is just majik.
I trust they will do what I tell them to do. Til they don’t.
I’m at sea the moment something pops up. I do know how to follow instructions, if I have them. Occasionally I can even look up a walk thru.

I’m saying you’re selling yourself short; there are things about laptops (and maybe desktop computers) you don’t care for, but computers are not beyond you. You just have preferences for certain kinds which is very normal.
