What will be in Trump’s “Large, Detailed, but Irrefutable REPORT?”

If a bit of defensiveness is allowed, note that, in context, I was NOT engaging in bothsidesism. Compared to Trump, Biden is pristine! I was rather suggesting that the mythical thread topic REPORT was an example of how Trump is often an effective politician. Here is that bit of that three-days-ago post:

Better: A poll of how many think he DID come through. The report doesn’t need to exist, for those people who weren’t going to read it anyway. They can believe the report just as well with it not existing as they can with it existing.

Maybe better, even.

One of the cable channels referenced this tonight:

Among those who plan to vote for Trump, 71% feel that what he tells them is true — higher than the results for friends and family (63%), conservative media figures (56%) or religious leaders (42%).

Cult.

We’re pretty far down the Line of Bullshit Highway for his numbers to be thus, but … here we are.

You could knock me over with a feather.

ETA: I’m wondering if the dichotomy between Trump and religious leaders is simply a zero-sum game. I’d guess that latter had higher numbers before Trump entered the scene.

Your own. Personal. Jesus.

GREAT song.

Morning Joe covered this. This is the last 2 minutes where they talk about pastors bending to the will of parishioners who pick DJT over jesus. And you gotta go where the money is!

Huh.

Well, isn’t that just a smidge horrifying.

When is the cruxifiction scheduled?

You give him too much credit for being able to think that deeply or that far ahead. No, his reptile brain only went as far as “If I don’t release the “Large, Detailed, but Irrefutable REPORT”, then I don’t have to pay for it”.

You can’t trust Jesus, with his liberal talking points.

A report that doesn’t exist can’t be refuted.

Rather like Nixon’s Silent Majority: being silent, they could be made to “say” whatever he wanted them to say.
