What would you rather be doing?

Today I’d really just like to sit on a log in the middle of the woods and give my eyeses and brains a rest.

I also still owe myself a Lord Of The Rings extended edition marathon. But I’d need to be a little better rested.

I’d like to change the starter on my Camry.

[censored]

I need to take a huge walk at Roxboro park.

Or redo the Phantom of the Opera evening last winter with anyone else, maybe even alone.

Or hang out at Olive Garden until I pass out or explode.

I’d really like to spend about 4 hours behind a rototiler preparing a flowerbed and next spring’s veggie garden.

Opps, forgot one:

Making out till it hurts.

Just one word… DISNEYLAND!!

Holding my 27 hour old nephew, Jack Thomas.
(I’m in CA and he’s in MI, and I won’t meet him until next weekend) :frowning:

Anything. I’d rather be doing many, many other things right now. So many other things, that I believe their sum total qualifies as “anything”.

Seeing as how I have had enough of this particular shithole. You know, the one that pays me money?

If I had to pick something, I’d say, probably, sitting at my favorite casino in Vegas smoking like a chimney, and guzzling Stoli. On the rocks, (which, really is the only way to have it.)

I’m not sure what I’d rather be doing, but I’m pretty certain I know what I **should ** be doing:

Getting my eyes checked!

I must admit I did a double take when I read that you wanted to hold your 27 **YEAR ** old nephew :dubious:

(not that there’s anything wrong with that)

I want to sit in Olive Garden and watch some random guy explode

Well, my day has been that which there is nothing else I’d rather be doing now…as I am getting ready for a nap! but I guess winning the lottery or playing guitar somewhere other than my basement…

Brendon

At this very moment? I would really like to be at Nikon Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY.

And I’d like to be there on Friday night, too!

I want to be on my boyfriend’s sofa, watching TV, comfy in his arms with a sleeping cat as a foot-warmer.
Not gonna happen until October, unfortunately.

Sleep. I’ve essentially been awake since 4am Tuesday morning (that, after only getting about 4 hours of sleep on both Sunday and Monday nights). I am so sore and tired, but my brain won’t let me sleep, and I’ve been suffering from a cold which is now basically just a nasty cough which keeps me awake. Cold + insomnia, winning combo, I tell ya! I got about an hour and a half of light snoozing on the couch this evening. The cold is getting better, so I hope I can break this cycle soon.

Sleeping. (I’m tired but don’t feel like going to bed yet. Conflicting.)
With my friends and family at home.
Taking pictures of neat things.
Drinking a beer.
Reading a great book.
Eating some good STL pizza.
At a good party with fun people and a Bud Light keg.
Hell, I’d even enjoy being in my Abnormal Psych class. Dig that class a lot.
Watching a really great movie in am empy theater.
Driving around blaring good music.
Seeing a band perform.
Shopping. (broke)
Go on vacation somewhere warm.

So pretty much anything enjoyable.

what I’m doing now is okay…

but I wish I weren’t sick :frowning:

and I wish I didn’t have to go to school. :frowning:

If I could just leave the office right now, I’d like to go home and do some painting while a DVD played on the tv behind me.

Well, since I’m already up…
Lazing on the beach with a book in one hand and frozen mocha in another.
Shopping for clothes
Repotting some plants I recently bought, in hopes that these shall survive.
And to take from Inigo: {CENSORED} with a little {censored} thrown in for good measure.

It’s a toss up between working on a gourd and sitting in a good restaurant doing appetizers and adult beverages.

golfing

…wearing my swimsuit, swinging in a hammock, watching the sun begin to set over the ocean, and thinking about which restaurant I want to eat my next meal at. Y’know, after my shower to wash off the salt water and coconut oil.

Tee shirt, sarong, a little bug spray and I’m good all night.

When I come back from dinner I’ll probably swing in the hammock some more and watch the moon rise over the ocean. And, y’know, count my blessings…

Realistically: sitting at home watching my Horatio Hornblower DVDs, curled up on the couch.

Fantasyland: travelling Europe with an unlimited credit card and two very very hot men as my companions.
